U cannot do that. The Nintendo three ds is geographically locked (which means the American three ds can't play Japanese games and vice versa) Therefore Japan isn't on the list as well as European countries. Even if u did that, it would be considered "hacking" into a Japanese gaming system and can put u in a whole lot of trouble.

if this ends-up coming out in 2014, im going to:
A. Save enough money for flight to japan.
B. Find the best explosives i can find.
C. Fly to japan and find Nintendo.
D. Blow the F**k out of Nintendo.
E. Jump off a high building.
F. Go up to heaven.
G. Ask Big-G if they have Flipnote Studio *D up there.
H. Do whtevr else...

Flipnote Three-D's release is still TBD on its website, and last I checked the "Three-D Samples" on the eShop were still there. My guess is that we'll either get it around the time the thirty month trial period ends for the majority of Japan, sometime near the Christmas season, or somewhere in between. Nintendo has been pretty jerkish with American release dates lately (Pikmin Three and M&L: Dream Team, for example), but either way, Flipnote Three-D definitely isn't dead.
