Memories, Knowledge, it makes us who we are and shapes who we are to be. Some for best, some for worse. Time is not a direct passage, thus, decisions, memories, and knowledge will affect that path. Erasing or blocking someone thought or remember will throw them off their trail that they select. Despite efforts from others, we make our decisions, HOWEVER, taking ones knowledge shall make it so they don't choose their own path based apon their previous knowledge. You will erase several paths of time along with that knowledge... Even if for the greater good, we must make our own, unaffected decisions...
