Scortch saw Nova get hurled forcefully out of the building after getting caught by Shin. "NOVA!" Scortch screamed. He transported to where Nova landed and saw Shin run after another targeting, then watched in horror as blood was coming out of Nova's neck. When Shin left, Scortch ran up to the fallen Typhlosion, took of his cloak's hood and got down on his knees. "Nova!" Scortch shouted. Tears started to come out of the Charmander as he put a hand on Nova's chest. "Please be okay, man!" he begged in sorrow...
Enigma stopped running. She looked back to see Shin shredding Nova. Her ears flattened for a moment and she looked down. She had failed, she couldn't protect anyone. She galloped back to the scene. /Lets see if this one trick still works.../ She prayed to arceus that she could do it. She looked at Baku. "I can help, a little." She closed her eyes, lifted one hoof and concentrated as hard as she could. A blue flame scortched the already ashy ground, and a hyper potion accompanied by some clothe bandages appeared. She opened her eyes and sighed in relief. She had a crippling headache now, but it was minor compared to what Nova must feel.
Ash turned around to watch Shin run after what looked like a jolteon. His fear had subsided, but even he was slightly disturbed by Shin's emotionless actions. He sunk his claws into the ground when the scre.aming returned after a short break.
Before he moved, Scortch noticed that Enigma had done a unique move to try to save Nova. "That was interesting," he applauded, "I'll still get that medical kit. I'll be back..." Scortch transported away from the scene to stay one step ahead of Nova's possible death. Even from the Ponyta's help, the bandages wouldn't last long...
Scortch appeared in the city that was barely standing, due to Shin's attack. In fact, there was corpses and blood everywhere of humans that died; sky.scr.ap.ers and buildings were hugely damaged from Shin's fury. Scortch gave off a sympathetic look before putting his hood on and entering the store. It was dark inside, but thanks to his beaming red eyes from his contained anger, he easily found a medical kit in good shape. There was no one in the store so the Charmander probably didn't have to pay. He walked out of the store and the terrible aftermath of the city showed just what Shin is capable of doing. "All those humans," Scortch sighed looking around slowly, "drenched in their own blood. They never ment to die, but they did, thanks to that awful Pokemon couple! I now know what it looks like to see a large pile of death in front of me. I hope my town isn't next to be in Shin's path..." Despite his anger, Scortch started to feel bad for his trainer. He wanted to go back, but it was probably too late. He was stray already and going back would mean nothing. Scortch sighed again and transported back to Nova's aid...
"Well that was exciting!" Leah announced, Blazetail not as impressed. "Exciting. EXCITING?! What were we thinking?! Thing is... you really are weird! Yes and I mean it this time!" He started dragging Leah by the tails, heading towards where the others had gone. It was not over... until Shin's either de.ad or has gained a f.atal desease. "Well y'know I bet Baku and Nova are both stronger than you! Take that!" "Well," Blaze sighed, "They are both slightly older than me... but I still think I have a good chance at-" "Losing?" "Shut up! And no! Winning!" After about five minuites, both Leah and Blazetail were silent at the sight of the new battleground. It looked like hell.
Ash appreciated Scarlet's understanding. He should probably find Shin too. He watched Scarlet bound away elegantly and Ash followed, a little slower. Shin might be ok now, but it was scary to watch him snap. Ash rarely snapped- and even then, it wasn't quite so acute. He bounded up to meet Nemesis and Scarlet. The scr.eaming wasn't subsuding, he could hardly hear what Nemesis said. /Shut up! SHUT THE F*CK UP!/ He hissed.
Scortch handed Baku the medical kit and the Typhlosion got to work. Just at that moment, Bowvy and Terrance finally appeared. "There you are!" Bowvy called, "We thought you ran away again since you left and never came back." He looked over at Nova and that showed the reason why most of the group were there. Bowvy nodded, it was great that Nova was still alive, even from the horrific injury he had. "Chaos has lost his life," Terrance explained. Scortch lifted off his hood. "From the fire?" he asked. Bowvy and Terrance nodded sympathetically. "He couldn't move at all the last time we saw him," Terrance added. Scortch sighed, looking over at Baku, tending to Nova. "I wonder how Baku will feel from that fact?" he wondered, "He might unleash his anger again." Bowvy and Terrance shrugged. The only thing to do was watch as Nova was trying to be healed...
Dusk rushed to where she could smell Baku's familaur ashy scent. When she looked up, she could see Baku, Nova, Scortch, Yang a ways away. She rushed over and slowed to a stop. She needed to tell Baku... "Baku... I- I have something you need to hear..." Tears began to fall from her eyes, "Chaos... He- Chaos didn't make it..." She looked into Baku's eyes with sorrow. She felt so responsible for his death. "He died in the fire..."
Terrance's eyes widened when Yang started to panic. "She's probably still at Chaos' body, mourning," he guessed. Terrance definitely didn't want to mess with Yang from his size. "Are you sure?" Yang clarified. "I last saw her with the Absol," Terrance replied, "If she hasn't returned, then she's giving sympathy towards his death." "The fire was too much," Bowvy co.nfe.ssed, "We didn't want to hang around any longer." Terrance then changed the topic a bit. "It seems that your brother is facing Shin in a 're-match' now from what I heard..."
Scortch was surprised that Baku didn't feel any emotion from Chaos' death. Was he only interested in Nova's survival and nothing else? Or was he holding on to his emotions until a certain point? Whatever the reason, the Charmander shrugged and joined in on Terrance and Yang's conversation. From hearing Yin's absence, he replied asking, "Would you go find and help him? If Yin goes down, what would happen to you? You are the light part of the YinYang after all and hearing Yin fall can hurt the balance in life..."
Dusk looked at Yang in shock, and then to Nova. /Baku.../ She wanted so desperately to follow him and comfort him, but it might seem false. She sat down in the warm ash, her tears wetting it, creating small craters. /It's my fault Chaos is dead.../
Ash decided he would simply let the girls enjoy the chase. He felt like he could destroy anything that came remotely close to him. /Hey Ash, you lost your drive?/ one of his demons snickered. /Are you SCARED of Shin? Hehehe! So typical, of you... you were always like a glameow!/ One of his sisters taunted. Ash wanted so badly to shred each one of them again and again. He took a step forward only to crumple. He snarled. "You really want to play this game you little a**es?!" His claws rose up to strike his face, it was posessed. Ash hissed as it swiped at him. He grabbed it in his jaws and crunched down on it mercilessly. It dripped with his blood, and it could hardly be recognized as a paw when he was finished. He stood up and walked, without flinching. "You can't touch me, fools." Blood filled his vision as he continued to walk after the females. The gashes on his face leaked crimson rivers.
Scortch shrugged from Nova's question. "Maybe he's holding in his emotions from what Shin has done," he guessed, "He could be secretly suffering from it and wants to keep his feelings hidden." "He didn't react to Chaos' death either," Bowvy added. Nova's eyes widened. "He died?" the gray Typhlosion clarified. The starter trio nodded. Nova shut his eyes and looked down. "A comrade's death is definitely something that no one can not care about," Nova preached, "From the fact that Chaos died and Baku feels unaffected from it shows that something has hit him, but what?" The starter trio shrugged again. Something had hit Baku and it was probably something that was of value to him...
Clarince had started to whistle in his village while looking up into the blue sky, wondering about everything that happened up there. It would be amazing, to be someones hero. he thought. the regular minun hopped down from the tree in notice of a letter, he picked it up, bieng mystified in curiousity. he care fully read it and found out that there was a fire recently, a few miles away. "maybe somethings going on?" clarence thought. a few minutes later, he was already packed and ready to go on his journey of success or death. (sorry. i couldnt resist...) :[
