A few hours later, the trio had climbed the large hill and were now standing at the South Gate of Witherville. The village was surrounded by a high stone wall which was lined with guards armed with bows and arrows. "There's been nobody on guard for a long time" Fantasy told them as they passed through the South Gate.

Carina and Jake quickly realised that this village was far bigger than their own. There weren't many people or villagers around. Most were resting or had left.
Carina suddenly spotted Gabe. He was talking to a boy with brown hair, blue eyes and wearing a grey and green t-shirt. Gabe turned and saw Carina. He ran over to meet her. "You got my letter!" he exclaimed "Yep! You alright?" she asked "Yeah. I'm fine" he answered "Is it true? The village...." she trailed off "Gone" he nodded sadly "Mine too" the boy added "And who are you?" Jake asked "The name's Viper" he replied "And who are you two?" Gabe asked "Call me Jake" he answered "I'm Fantasy" she answered

The gang spent the next while telling each other what happened and how they met one another.
Turned out Viper's village had been destroyed too. He was rescued by Gabe who had been passing through. The conversation had then turned to the more important matter of what Herobrine was planning to do and wheather or not he could be stopped, which brought Carina to explaining what she saw in the dreams.
"Notch showed me some kind of temple thing. It was blurry so it was hard to tell. But what I do know is that it was in a desert. He told me I'd find the answer to stopping "Him" there" she explained. "Wait, in a desert? Ah ha! Notch must've showed you Sandstone Ruins!" Viper exclaimed

"Sandstone Ruins?" the others asked "Yeah! All I know is that they're in a desert biome in the west" he replied "Hmm, maybe we'll see them from the top of the tower. It's high enough" Fantasy suggested, pointing to the tall structure near the West Gate of Witherville."There's a library at the top so we could look up about the ruins too" she added as she lead the way. "Seriously, what's it with villages having libraries?" Jake asked sarcastically. Gabe shrugged his shoulders as they followed Fantasy to the tower.
