I like the shading, great job.
Very nice on the eyes.
As for the legs...
You've got the "Small at the top, larger at the bottom" thing right. But, they're curved in the wrong direction. In G4, their legs bend -> ) <- this way, not -> ( <- that way.
I reccomend looking at some G4 pony anatomy stuff on dA, and look at real horse anatomy.
Pay attention to the way their legs move and bend.
It's what I did, and it will help you greatly!
