"Oh my Notch! What the hell's happening?!" Fantasy exclaimed "I have no idea" Carina replied slowly "Hey look! Everyone's heading to the village square. Should we go too?" Jake asked "Yeah! C'mon let's go!" Carina answered. With that they left Jake's house.

In the village square, there was a stone statue of Notch and everyone had gathered around it. Some were in deep discussion, others were panicing, and villagers, were being villagers.
Mixing in with the crowd, the trio tried to figure out what was going on by listening to what other people were saying. "The blood red moon. Not seen since the legendary Final Battle" an elderly man said more so to himself. "Has time stopped?" someone asked "Time stopping? Impossible" came the reply. "Why hasn't Notch put a stop to this?" someone else exclaimed. Suddenly, there was a crackle of thunder and a flash of lightning. Then, one by one, three lightning bolts struck the statue of Notch, setting it on fire. On the final strike, a figure rose from the flames. It's white eyes glowed intensely.
Herobrine had returned....

The crowd fell silent apart from a few whispers "Is that?" "It's "Him"!" "I-it can't be!"
Herobrine rose higher. "Notch?" he asked in a mocking tone before throwing his head back in evil laughter "Notch is now powerless against me! And soon, just like his followers, he will be no more. Even now as we speak, my army of mobs are tearing several villages apart and they will not stop until they have destroyed everything. This is my world now!" then, directing his souless gaze at Carina, Jake and Fantasy, he said "Just try and stop me!" With that, another lightning bolt struck down, Herobrine vanished...

The village erupted into a state of panic. Everyone returned to their homes. Most packing up to leave, while the brave few geared up to fight.
"Well, we're dead" Jake said dryly "Not yet we're not! Carina it's your call, what do you think we should do?" Fantasy asked. Looking out to the distance, Carina answered "I've gotta go back for Gabe". "But if what Herobrine showed you is true then..." Jake trailed off "He's still alive, I know it! If something happened he'd have contacted me..." Carina said "How?" Jake and Fantasy asked together, confused "I need an Ender Chest!" she answered

"An Ender Chest?!" they asked, even more confused "Yep! And I know where to find one!" Carina answered, remembering she'd found the book "Minecraft's Origins" lying on one in the library.
Carina opened the Chest to find a letter from Gabe. The writting was scribbled on, showing that the letter had been wrote in a hurry. She began reading aloud.
"Carina, if you get this, I'm on my way to Witherville. Our village has been burnt to the ground. The mobs came out of nowhere...We put up a good fight but it wasn't enough. Almost everyone is dead... If you're still out there somewhere, meet me at Witherville. Your friend Gabe.
P.S You'll be needing this"
Carina looked in the Ender Chest and found an iron sword. She took it out and closed the chest.

"Wait, Witherville?" Fantasy asked "Yeah" Jake answered "Well, that's where I'm from! Gabe's probably going there because it's one of the safest places from mobs. They can barely reach it let alone get in. The village is built on high ground and has a high stone wall around it" she explained "Sounds like a pretty good stronghold" Jake said "Hmm, yeah. A stronghold Herobrine'll target. But that said, it's our best option" Carina added "Right. Let's get ready to go" Fantasy replied "Wait, shouldn't we wait until morning?" Jake asked "Hate to say it but morning isn't coming" Carina answered "Huh? How do you know?" he asked. Gazing up at the sky, Carina answered "Because the moon hasn't moved since we woke up"....
