I'm honestly not a good person. by thimbleMovedAccounts

and before you guys decide to counter with "but oh thimble you're such a great person we love you how can you be hated"
i'm rude
i support things that a lot of the all-american copy-paste children in my district find absolutely appalling or laughable
i'm not one of the most pretty lasses in this society
i'm quite stupid with close observation
i'm poor at sports and sportsmanship
i'm extremely distant now
some "friends" and strangers douse my self-confidence and future dreams with rude comments

Well, that's me... but I try to do something about it. I'm generally pretty lazy, but I just keep trying different things until it works. Making a lot of lists helps me organize, but different things help different kinds of people, so find something that helps. Oh, and about being proud of what you do, I get what you mean by feeling like you'll look too egotistical, but the important thing is that you realize you don't want to be like that, sonit's ok to be proud of what you do (I might need to take sime of my own advice, but whatever). Also I get that it's not easy to just "be happy", I used to be really depressed for a long time, but it's gotten a lot better in the past few years... So yeah... sorry for the wall of text, I'm just trying to say that I get how you feel, and that you don't have to feel better right away, but you really aren't that bad of a person. I want say a lot more though but it's hard to put into words...

I haven't progressed much either, but I think I've improved a tiny bit so I even have a list of stuff I need to do like "what feels worse, getting up and doing it, or the feeling you get when you don't do it" and sometimes it is true in some cases that not doing something feels better, but Some days I read that and end up getting a few things done, and that's more than none. I'm terrible at sticking to things like that, i've tried different variations of it for maybe 3 years and it only now just started working, so I've kind of got the opinion now that I HATE when people think their "ultimate problem solver" works for EVERYONE. People can find their own way out of a bad situation by themselves or with help, however they want to do it, all you need to do is want to start. And before you think "but isn't it pathetic that I don't even feel good enough to start the easiest step?" don't, because I felt that for a really long time, and I'll tell you that wanting to change is the hardest step, but it only gets easier, and it doesn't have to start now, or by school, or by the end of the year, just whenever you feel good enough to, and that will happen someday. Sorry I keep rambling and being vague about what I mean, but I don't know what your individual problems are and I don't want to be too nosy about that. Oh, also you don't have to feel bad about not feeling good as soon as someone tries to help, because that's really hard to do.

Maybe you need to bite back, you dont have to be particularly or naturally skilled at something to be successful. Dig in deep and fight, reach for success so you can prove those who naysay wrong. Maybe thats not the best advice to someone who seems to think so little of themselves,
not everyone, or even most people are exceptionally skilled at any one thing, you might be looking at it too black and white, that highschool allstar QB may be taking roids and be the eye of the schools eye, he sits at "the cool table" (derp) but he may not actually ever go..anywhere, most oftenly, especially in ****in highschool, you see kids "in their prime"
they look and act like they **** gold bricks, but after highschool? Say hello to the next 9-5 working ****** statistic dad/mom who peaked im life a eon ago.
I wont pepper you with pretty compliments, but you can choose to be what you want to be. Dig in deep, and study something that'll make you a ton of money, or something you truly enjoy, you can make your own mark in the world in your own way, you dont have to be gods gift to man in any paticular field.

Oh, as for the ignorant lot? Yeah, they'll have fun being stuck in the last century when everyone else has moved on from such classic tropes as "**** go to hell" or etc ad infinum.
Theres life AFTER highschool, a life where you can be around more like minded peeps. A life where most people grow the **** up, and in a society that is rapidly adapting.
TL;DR f.uck the naysayers, and do what you want.
