Klomp by Glen-i

I've recently been drawing a few things as part of a 30-drawing Nintendo thing.

#Klomp would have to be my favourite Donkey Kong character. Half because Kremlings are cool, and half because he has serious scarring for some reason.

Why is that? No idea... It is awfully gruesome for a Ninty game.

I love Drapture's linearts and doodles so much. He might not be that awesome at coloring (yet) but he knows how to draw facial expressions right and believably, and he foreshortens pretty well too. In fact, he's much more talented than I was at his age. He'll become one hell of a comic artist. ^^

And you earned to be on my top 3 list. ^^ Now I may sound corny, but your drawings and lovely characters always put a smile on my face. Your art somehow makes me become overcome with happiness. X3

"Foreshorting" means to reduce or distort (parts of a represented object that are not parallel to the picture plane) in order to convey the illusion of three-dimensional space as perceived by the human eye: often done according to the rules of perspective. Umm...hope I explained that correctly. XP I don't know how else to describe it in English. In German I would just say "perspektivisches Zeichnen" that's all. XD

Oh yeah, drawing him from the front is pretty wicked. I learned that when I drew the Glen.exe. To make it even harder I made him tilt his head. XD

Well, here's how I learned it. Make photos of yourself or parts of your body in several poses and perspective and try to copy them. You can also pose for your pics, it can be really helpful.
