There was a time when humans controlled Y'Mirra...
...But due to their selfish nature and greed. They went to war among themselves...
...This war nearly caused the extinction of humanity.

Peace followed after the great war...
...But not for long.

Strange monsters appeared across the land, attacking anything native to Y'Mirra; rather human or animal.

A hero arose in search of a way to defeat the monsters.
She sought aid from the goddess Animalia and after completing a list of trials. The hero gained the powers of the elements.
The powers were gifted to animals of fur and feather in the form of a jewel on their brow.

Although the magic of the gems did not defeat the monsters, it gave the animals a chance to gather themselves into communities.
The gems affected them, making the animals think like humans. Carniverous animals like lions and wolves began to eat vegatation.
Other animals grew wings or scales.

The magic that was supposed to save the world only became a curse...
...But that is my perspective for good reasons, even if this magic has been around for 2,000 years. ((end prologue))
