Carina foumd herself standing at the moon lit enterence of a newly found cave system. With the icy wind blowing against her back and iron pickaxe in hand, she ventured inside.

The cave system went in a very straight line. There were few paths that branched off from the main system, most had dead ends so Carina decided to stick to the main path. After about half an hour of mining, she'd found quite a few ores. Coal iron redstone, even a bit of Budder aka gold. Carina suddenly saw the orange glow of lava. "Maybe I'll find diamonds there. I'm deep enough after all" she thought. When she got there, Carina saw a cobblestone bridge over the river of lava..

"Wait, if someone's been here, why hadn't they put down torches?". Carina's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by an arrow shooting past her face. She looked to see two skeletons and three zombies. Bringing out her iron sword, she fought the mobs. Carina took out the skellys first, hitting back the arrows they shot.Her fight against the zombies took her onto the cobblestone bridge. She killed the first two with her sword. But just as she knocked the third into the lava, there was a terrible hissing sound behind her...

KA-BOOM!! The impact of the explosion sent Carina flying to the other side of the lava river. She slowly got up and looked behind her. The bridge was completely destroyed. "Well i sure ain't leaving the same way i came in" she said aloud. It was then she saw it. There was a tunnel two blocks high, one block wide and was lit with redstone torches. Curiousity getting the better of her, Carina went into the tunnel.

After a while, the tunnel opened out into a chamber also lit with redstone torches. Carina walked into the middle of the chamber. Suddenly, one by one, the torches went out. Within seconds, Carina was standing in complete darkness. With shivers running down her spine, she took out her sword. She suddenly saw a faint glow. Carina slowly looked up and saw a pair of souless glowing white eyes."Who are you?!" she asked, her voice trembling. "Your worst nightmare!" came the reply. With that the eyes disappeared. Carina backed away, looking around wildly. Suddenly she felt a surge of pain in her left arm as a sword's blade cut across it. Carina felt herself hitting the ground and blacked out...
