I think you did an excellent job, my tip would be making the head a bit smaller and adding highlights to the cheeks since the face looks a lil' flat. Howevee I really like the hair and the torso :3

Now that's a hard question for anyone XD Mmm, just something you like. Maybe practice with a different type of character. O_O Practicing with different face shapes and body types is always good
