It was getting about time to create an updated portrait for my handle. [... sans the "Roaring" part, as you can see.] Playing around further with a brown color scheme. Still trying to get a hang of quarter-angle views. (Replay broken. I've been poking at & trial-&-error'ing this one for a while.)
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

It was happenstance that I saw that pic on the new art queue where you were expressing your troubles, and I was familiar with that feeling of self-doubt, so I figured posting was just the right thing to do. Now, you do need to remember that leaving isn't necessarily a bad thing: sometimes you need a break, or you might feel it's the best thing to do long-term, for one reason or another. But yeah, as far as whether or not you're good enough to post art -- well, yeah, as someone recently told me, just keep making more art. That's what allows us to get more satisfied with our work. [That's also admittedly what I need to do more of, myself.] I think that's what a bunch of people are doing here, in any case.

The colors work really well with this. C: I find it hard to use essentially one color and not have the palette repeat itself, especially with browns. Also drawing dog-like faces is near impossible to me, so kuddos to you for that, too! And thanks for commenting on one my pieces. C: It was a breathe of fresh air from all the "check out my gallery" comments I see around.
