There he was, Ty: the person everyone loves. Yeah except me.
"Steak's tonight!" He announced, placing a grill upon the dancing fire. The was only one thing I could say:
"Dude. You need to brush your hair."
Fantasy burst out laughing. Then Mel. Then me. In the middle of a total zombie apocalypse, that's all I could say. In the shadows somebody else started laughing their head off.
"Seriously!" It heaved. "That's worse than that picture of me as a turtle!" Out of the blue, I felt drowsy. Not just me, everyone else felt like it.
"Oh god. Not again!" Mel breathed as she fell to the ground. What would reverse the effects of this mysterious mist? Caffeine? Yes! Caffeine! As quickly as I could, I ripped the tea bags open and shoved the powder into the boiling pot. I crossed my fingers, hoping if wasn't decaf. Three. Two. One. I dunked my head into the pot, drenching myself in homemade tea. My mind had cleared and I was back on my feet. Swiftly I grabbed buckets of the stuff and poured it over my friends. They would kill me for this.

After an hour, we were awake and dry and the mysterious shadow had introduced himself. "So are we going to eat of not?" I coughed. Mel shook her head and smiled.
"You seem what time it is? I'm going to bed."
"Oh.... Ok."
The next morning, I was up before everyone else. Worst part about sleeping in Ty's private lodge. Um well. He sleeps in the lounge. He has no bedroom. So we had to sleep in the kitchen. I dreaded everything about it!
"Morning!" He grinned.
"Um are you up to get away from those two." I pointed at Mel and Fantasy.
"Yeah. A lot of people admire me."
I smiled slightly and tiptoed out. But I forgot about breakfast.
"Your back early." Mel yawned.
"Yeah but I wouldn't be in this place if if wasn't for missing breakfast!"
I shoved some bread into the toaster. To be honest, I didn't like using the grill it the oven so everyone would have to wait their turn.
"So does anyone want marmalade?"
Mel stiffened up,
"Maybe not. Anyway. Do you remember that sudden case of nausea? I think somebody's trying to kill us."
"Oh no! Call the CSI!" I was being sarcastic. Everyone else wasn't so impressed. When we reached the lake, everyone were struggling to stay on their feet. But we couldn't help it. The lake was our only source of water since Fantasy's private supply ran out. Everyone had to carry at least a bucket of water to fill up the water tank half way. But the sudden change in weather made me think back to the night before.
"Turn away.... Or kill them off...."
"Sorry. What?" Fantasy looked as white as a sheet. Was there something that I said?
"I. I read a passage in a book. Is anything wrong with that?"
She turned away. What was happening? I heard shuffling from behind and the dreadful slam of wood.
"Morning ladies." That voice....
"Oh GOD!!!!" I wailed, "Not YOU! Not after this guy attracted my friends into this place and I had to spend a night in a kitchen! A KITCHEN! I have had enough of following people around!"
/I'm leaving. Yeah./
