A carved vase stands behind me as a tribute to a goddess. Beside me sits a law code the first of it's kind a creation of king Hammurabi. Before me lays a Sphinx chillen in the moonlight shade of Hemoteps steps shaped like a pyramid.Right next to this stepped chilling space lie two steles for king Uruk and Narim-Sin. Over yonder standing tall is the structure of Nanna's ziggurat symbolizing a great mountain of trials for those who dare tread this "Path Through History." #poetic #gemini #surreal

The pyramid is my version of Imhoteps stepped pyramid. Which was a burial tomb constructed in sections. The real pyramid only has five steps

The two stone objects [left: Stele of Uruk. Which was erected by the king Uruk to show his power. Could also be the Epic of Gilgemesh. {right: Stele of Narim-Sin. Which shows the religious and political power of king Narim-Sin.

The building is the Neo-sumerian, Nanna Ziggurat. The word Ziggurat means to build high. This structure referances a mountain.
