The thing is, sure, Maxwell can make loads of stuff. But he has to write it down first, allowing Finn to cut him up. If Maxwell like, attacked the treehouse, he might have made an army. Plus, Finn has Jake, who would be all "GIANT FIST" and crush Maxwell. So, if it was just a one-on-one, and was arranged, Finn would more than likely win.

Maxwell can write RPG pretty fast
and blow into chunks, plus you don't know if Maxwell know tai kwon do, or karate or something!
