Uuugh can people SERIOUSLY stop using "gay" as an insult and/or with other negative connotations? Spongebob IS a pretty terrible show now, and he's kinda turned into the bad guy of the show at this point... but still, you're whining about a frikkin TV show. Anyone who can afford to be angry at something as trivial as a childrens TV show and fictional characters really have nothing to truly complain about.

Anyway, I also agree that Spongebob REALLY lost his shine after 'The Spongebob Squarepants Movie'. I don't watch the new episodes, but I always watch the new ones on DVD. I don't watch Nickelodeon that much anymore anyway... ; /

Jeez it's like people with new gens of Pokemon. Maybe if you stopped over-romanticizing your childhood, you'd see that Spongey was just as "gay" back then as he is now! The writers for the show may have changed, but it's not like they changed the show ALL that much. SB may have seemed badass to a kid, but then they grew up. GOSH.

At this point, I think they should just stop making spongebob episodes. The horrible quality nowdays is just not even worth putting out. I'd rather watch the COMMERCIALS than some of the new ones!

yeah,the new spongebob episodes aren't as good as the old one's,but the new one's are not horrible,there are actually some that i found really funny! if you guys really think spongebob sucks then that's ok,but please don't act like your life's ending because the new spongebobs suck in your opinion.
