I've dealt with a similar situation in my life, though mine is a bit minor. I have this ridiculous phobia and i want to cry when I'm in public because of it. My mom's abusive and my dad is an alcoholic. I do NOT want to go to foster care (my phobia would make that impossible) so i just try to avoid my parents by being online.
