A Fine Line Between Us Now by dorianator
July 26, my 17-year-old cat, Liza, was put to down.
She was such a sweet, old and mellow cat. She was never too much of a bother and seemed to be indiferent of most things going on around her.
Long story short, she was born deaf, grew up deaf, and spent her last days in blindness, mental confusion and misery.
It's been a pretty shi.tty week. My aunt is dead now, I've been sick, stressed and sleep-deprived for the past few days, but at least I was with Liza when she finally went.

At least I'm going on vacation soon, so that's an upside. If the hotel we stay at doesn't have Wi-Fi, I'll be seeing you all in a week. Sorry to have saddened you all with this post.

kitty....no....*Wipes tears* she lived a good life....she even out lived mt dog ny 2 extra years... i apologize for what had to be done, but now, she is in a better place waiting for you while she is with your aunt ok? *small smile*

My cousin and i were really sad when her cat of almost the same age of yours....well...disapeared of our lifes, but now it can be safe and have no suffer... ( thats what someone tell to me :T ).....

I felt the same when mah Cat died .... i really loved my cat ... but he was suffering ... all Day suffering ... i dont remember very good what he had ... but ... i was with him all Day ... until in the night ... he left ... i cried a lot ... i miss him omo

I'm so sorry, nathan.
We have a cat that's like 2O years old (we don't know exactly how old he is, because he "took up" at our place 2O years ago, and he was an adult back then, so....)
