That's about all he can use. I soon learned it's useless to catch a wild metapos. It's always best to start with the Cow-- er, Caterpie.

Actually, the back that you're seeing is really the front. If you look at it this way, the way it's shown in the games, the eyes of it look droopy and tired. Which makes sense. In the real world, caterpillars form cocoons around their body to protect them while they REST and grow.
