i just saw your art (So friggin late) AND HOW DO YOU COLOR SO AMAZINGLY. MY GAWD. QoQ HOW YOU DO DIS?

StickyLeaf

-Newmoon: I take it you mean human anatomy. Observe from real life, learn skeleton structures, and proportion. Try the extreme sport of drawing strangers in a subway or cafe or anywhere, it's intense...

-EverlastingA: Thank you dear, it's all practice and experimentation. Of course theres more but I'll never stop talking then, haha. I might be more help if you are more specific.

Amazing, Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors is one of my all-time favorites, too! In this exact moment I'm playing Remember11, another incredible, mind-bending game from the same author. ;)

Have you taken art lessons, or are you completely self taught?

StickyLeaf

-ScorchMuffin: Something like making enough money so I can retire early to focus on art and travel the world, haha.
-Ruceyod: I get that a lot. I needed an id to join DA asap but it stuck until now.
-OhSnapple: Yup, completely self taught.

whoa, Thats amazing! .o.

that gives me faith I'll become better artist someday. I didn't think you could get to such a professonial level, from being a self taught! :D

^ I am far from being proffessional but it makes me happy to read your comment. But nothing comes without hard work so you will really need to draw like mad. My biggest inspiration is Algenfledger. He is a mad man. Google him and you can see his learning curve through out 3 years, entirely self taught.

I want to be self taught but my mother wants me to have classes...My class is kind of boring and limited and the only reason Im still there,is because my mother and grandmother would get pretty upset.Only in my free time do I get to draw what I want...:/ I guess its a little helpful though. You,and many other artists out there really help me to improve, and I thank you for that.:)

Looks pretty dang professional to me :)

I'll be sure to check that out! :D

-newmoon: In the end, it is results that truly mater so take the class if it's truly helpful. If you are doing still life/ covering basics then you're on the right track even if it's boring. But going through the motions, and retaining what you learn then reapplying it is different. I wish you the best of luck deciding whether the classes are right for you.

How did you get all that followers ? *o* I think it's because your art is amazing but did you do some advertising at the beginning ? I'm new in colors that's why...

Honestly, you're one of my favorite artists on here (even gave ya a shout out #StickyLeaf) :] Hmmm....

Q: When did you first start drawing? And do you paint in real life? Your paintings are quite pro looking. Thanks.

Sorry For the late answers!! Having dead Internet sucks :[
-CuraravLight: The only advertising I did was posting art, haha. I believe that good art will really speak for itself, but if it helps, fan art always give you more exposure than original works.
-Procastinator: Every kid have gotta start scribbling under the coffee table at some point, so since forever, I suppose. It's not my prefered media though not often, but it is always an option if I get bored and have time on hand. You are too kind for the shout out, thank you!

Question: What do you think is easier; digital painting, or brush on paper? You don't get an undo button on paper, yet some techniques are harder to execute on a digital interface. Eh, I'm terrible at both.

StickyLeaf

-S.novice: You phrased my throughts exactly. I personally prefer plain old paper pencil. Digital media can replicate the look of traditional drawings but it lacks the 'paper/canvas-feel'. If you can master trad. media then digital will come w/much ease though I can't say the other way around. Digital, though, is very convienent, much so that I find myself doing the 'ctr z' motion when drawung on paper :p.
