I have Short-Term Amneisa as well. At one point I remember something, then my memory vanishes in a split second. It's creepy, but it's a perminant part of me. :T

There was a scientific research on this kind of thing and the reason is when you step into a new room, its a new setting and your brain sorta resets itself, too.
