The darkness found a time of vulnerability against light; it was when the Sun and Moon would be too distracted switching places in the sky to notice the Dark reaking havoc on Earth. So the Moon and Sun created the Godess of the Twilight to protect over Earth while Moon nor Sun held full domain over the sky. Hope you like!
