Wow munin your spoiling me again, this is just awesome , I c u were true to your word and have gone back and gained a bit of height to do this one, uv captured it brilliantly, it's such a beautiful mountain, (although tryfan is still my true love lol ) :)*****
Cheers guys. @Gaz: Hehe. Sorry, but this was just a half day stop off on the way to the coast. If it's any consolation, I remembered your beloved Tryfan and painted the East side on my 3DS. ;) I just need to clean up the painting a bit... first plein-air with the 3DS and it's tough to adapt my colour picking technique in bright light.
Wow I've been hoping you would paint the east side when you went back, :) a big rock with the scar of heather terrace going across it, it really looks like a proper mountain, it's my favorite view of tryfan by far, can't wait to see it :) I own a 3DS now so can view it , I've never painted on a DS so I don't know the difference between it and the 3DS, Im finding it very alien to use as ive only ever painted on I phone, :)
@Gaz: Coming from an iPhone to 3DS, you should have a fairly easy transition after the initial struggle. Guess it depends on how much time you spent painting on the iPhone. I'll try to get my 3DS output up before the weekend. I did a lot more DS paints - working my way roughly NE, but I want to upload in sequence. :)
Nice one I shall look forward to seeing them,:) I now think I know the spot that you have painted this from, I think the reason I thought you were higher up is because you are above the Nant Ffrancon valley, their is a single track road from ogwen carpark descending the valley, I think you are around here maybe, hmm can't think of a lay by there tho, perhaps I'm wrong, ah or I could be right and just not remember the lay by lol :)
