im starting to hate Scotts and Emmas relationship. Growing atatched to nonliving things causes social skills and team work with humans to decrease. its not a healthy relationship. She coild have fallen in love with any other man that showed emma love. Period. there is no real love within their relationship.

Remember, Emma and Scott grew up together, for many years before. Emma feel in love with Scott, on her own. She even feels guilty about it. Now, she is faced by Susan, another woman, trying to steal him away from her. Of course she will be defensive about it.

Also, I do try to creat Susan to have a real personality as a character. Sadly, she is to be the sympatiser of the story, somewhat. She's not a bad person and actually, a very nice person, and really care for Scott.
She does beleive Scott being in love with a machine is also twisted.
