Ever since he was born, Bruce was taught the true meaning of love. His mother wished him the best of luck to have a girlfriend ever since middle school. But, because Bruce was a nerd and had braces, he got picked on and never had anyone to love. Bruce told his father about his troubles in school and has been given useful advice. Before Bruce took off to college, his father wanted to tell him where babies come from to give Bruce a better chance for him to get what he is destined for.

No matter how many bells he spends on gifts for the ladies, he's always dumped along with the box of chocolates in the trash. 2 days later, Bruce caught a bus to Yoshino (my village)to start a new leaf(no pun intended). Bruce then tried his best to hide his dark back-story so he wouldn't get picked on. He then saw Mathilda and instantly fell in love in her. Bruce didn't want to ask her out because he was afraid that she would dump her like the women in college.

On July 15, Mathilda found Bruce's secret journal hidden under the basketball hoop in his room. Mathilda felt that herself and Bruce just couldn't be. Mathilda confess.ed to Bruce, and he was standing in his house for 3 hours crying tear by tear. During the final hour, Mathilda came in and promised Bruce that they can still be friends which is shown here.
