I have to do rules because there are lots of members; I want this to go as smoothly as possible.
-Do not power play
-Basically same as above, no playing 'god'
-Do not ki.ll another person's wolf. (Yes, I have rped with people who thought this was 'ok')
-Should you die, you are allowed to join with another wolf, but you must ask me first!
-Third person only, any other style is hard to read/understand
-You may not control another person's wolf
-Do not try to suddenly make something ridiculously drastic happen. Ex: War, A bombing, etc.
-You only have one power, do not try to say 'I suddenly could use fire' when you originaly chose light

A black, peacock feathered wolf stood atop a large, shining rock. He took a deep breath in. Tonight was like any other night, the stars twinkled in the sky, and the waning moon shone like a gem. He let out a long, low howl for his mistress. She gave him power, power to rule over his pack with might and love alike. After thanking the white, glowing light from above, he pounced off the opal colored rock and slowly made his way around the grassy opening in the woods. He carefully checked each den, making sure every wolf was asleep and safe.

the moon shone beautifully as it twinkled off the grey eyes of a wolf. She stared at the moon, the stars, the sky. taking it all in. /life is so wonderful/ she thought to herself. as she pondered and gazed a long, bequtiful howl rose through the night. She closed her eyes, listening to the strong voice, she would know it anywhere. after a moment, she let a string of notes rise into the night to blend in with his. then sauntered away from her cave opening to greet him.

Snow sat perfectly straight, always on alert. Thinking to herself that she had to keep her fellow pack members safe. She did't know what. Even though it is the most quiet night in awhile.

Phasma relished his mate's call. He would be home soon, he silently promised. The black wolf noticed many wolves were awake, but payed little heed. Most wolves enjoyed the night in his pack, it was cool, and star and moon wolves could function even better than in the day. The apprentice healer seemed to be almost uncomfortable though. He called her out of the healer's den. "Are you alright? Do you need to go out for a run?"

( I have a pic of Karoshi in my gallery if anyone doesn't know what she looks like. She is the black and purple wolf with bat wings ) Karoshi glared at her dens stoney wall. There was nothing to do. Nothing! No war, no battles, no disputes, no orders to, no troops to command, no wolf to fight, and no battles plans to create! She growled and slashed at the wall, leaving deep claw marks gashed into the slab of rock. " What a des'pic'able evening! ," the wolfess muttered and whirled around ro glare at the moon. She nodded to the Alpha as he passed, showing her respect for him. The canine wouldn't mind being an alpha one day. Then she could finaly conquer those other snobish wolf packs that were her pack's neighbors. " What I would give up to battle oncemore ," Kar said to herself, scowling at the stars from her dark den which was only lighted by the glow of her markings.

Snow walked out of her den, went to the middle of all of them and curled up in a ball under the night sky. But she was still wide awake.

(I won't be on for awhile, do to a thunder storm.)

(You are! Your a warrior apprentice)

Phasma shrugged at the healer and finished his rounds for the night. He followed the brightly lit path into the forest back to his den. Scree was waiting for him, and he nuzzled her, thanking and greeting her. He smiled and sat in the mouth of the cave. He opened his jaws wide in a yawn. Being alpha was taxing, there was just about no time to rest.

Chiffon barely moved as her apprentice moved about. Within the night, Chif felt powerless. Her abilities recided with the sun, and even then, she relied mostly on Light abilities. No fire for her, and she was grateful of it. She couldn't bare the though of accidentally torching a birds' feathers. Her paws moved gingerly around her nest which consisted of dried grass and bird feathers. She could identify any one of them, dispite being blind. Scent an touch is mostly what she relied on. An odd cry broke the wind. The pastel colored wolf heard Phasma not too long ago, and she knew it wasn't him. "Screech...ahh...owl..." she yawned lazily to herself. Owl's had the funniest calls, in her opinion. The night was plesant, and all was calm in her pack's camp. Chif loved it this way.

The rustle of the grass and trees combined with the refreshing breeze of the night kept Fawn awake. The moon's gentle light whispered lullabies as she stared from the opening in the den. Yet despite its song, Fawn felt the need to move around and just /do/ something. Stretching, she walked out of the den and was bathed in the moonlight.

Karoshi bared her teeth and stalked out of her den. That was it! She needed to . . . to do . . . something!!! Kar raised her wings and, leaping into the air, flapped her dark wings and took off. The wolfess glided above the pack, patroling the area. Her eye's scanned the forest, looking for something to raise her susp'icions so that she could chase after it! Karoshi took a deep breath, taking in the different scents. There! That smell! Karoshi dived down into the and scimmed along the treetops. Deer!

Chif's ears flicked as she heard her apprentice enter the den. "Insomnia?" She pipped up, remaining motionless.

(Yay! Who's my mentor though...? And since I don't have much time, can you catch me up on the beginning please? I seriously have about thirty minutes which isn't a lot in rp...)

Maybe a walk would do, She entertained the thought for a bit before acting upon it,somethung she rarely ever did. She trotted to the edge of camp and into the darkened forest.
Nightime was relatively new to Fawn, she was usually asleep and rarely had she ever been seen awake at such an hour, let alone actually up and doing something. Different sounds saturated the forest, most of the animals she was used to hunting would be asleep by now, so what could be lurking in the unseen? Her thoughts continued as she delve deeper into the forest, racoons would be out, possum as well.

Phasma's eyes grew wide as he realize the one most important thing he was supposed to do tonight- Name the apprentices! "I'll be back Scree; I forgot one thing!" He raced towards the camp where his pack slept. He lept upon the shining white rock and summoned his pack with a swift bark, followed by a howl. Soon, most of the pack had appeared before him. He looked down upon his pack before beginning. "I have surveyed our youth, and have chosen for each of them a mentor." Many barks of approval arouse from the mass of wolves. "Raid, Lumina, Shadow. Please step forward." The wolves followed directions, almost bursting with excitement. "Raid, you shall be apprentice to Ice. Lumina, you will follow Snow and learn the way of a warrior. And you, Shadow, shall learn to hunt from Fawn!"

Karoshi dived under the canopy and leveld out afew feet above the ground. She could see her prey clearly now. It was a healrhy heard of five does, two fawns and three bucks. Her eye's narrowed, her wings flapped, and her muscles tensed. The unrelenting prey drive that had been built into her had now kicked in. Kar set her sights on the eldest buck, one with a ten-point rack, and flapped just above the deer. The heard scattered, panick enveoloping the forest dwellers, including the buck. Karoshi kept with him though and, with an evil laugh, folded her wings and fell onto the buck. It snorted in fear just before falling like a stone and rolling hooves over antlers. The wolfess had jumped off at the last secont and skidded smoothly on the damp grass, smirking in triumph and delight. She sauntered over happily toward the deer. He was kickining and snorting, trying to stand on his broken legs, but with no success. The canine slammed her front paws onto it's side. " I thank thee for thine services! ," she said gleefuly and clamped her jaws around the buck's neck, electricity flowing from her sharp teeth into the deers neck. After a minute, Karoshi let go of her ki'll and smiled at the carcas, licking her jaws. Blood was so delicious! The beta chuckled and turned her attentions to the rest of the heard, picking up their scent oncemore. " One dead, eight to eliminate! "

(I haven't finished my pic yet, is that all right?) Ruedawn (or Rue for short) was startled awake by his soon to be mate (The beta male, and female are mates or can be soon to bes correct? Tell me if I over stepping something okay) she was a restless sleeper. Not only that but she seemed to be a very villent wolf the complet oppisite of him, but everywolf desvered to be given a chance. He wasn't about to judge her yet. He didn't know her very well, he had only found out about the arranged matage a few days ago, and hadn't had time to speak much with her. (Are they betas from birth? Or are they voted upon? And is all I'm doing okay so far After Fall?)

Lumina stared up at the moon. Today was the day. The day when she would finally get a mentor and learn the ways of a warrior. Hopefully, the Alpha had chosen a lunar wolf with the powers of water to help her with her water-controlling powers. As Lumina and the other apprentices heard their names called, a spark of glee and exitement filled the she-wolf. /I wonder who will be my mentor, oh my gosh I'm so exited!/ thought Lumina, twitching her tail back and forth. /This is gonna be awesome!/ After what seemed like an eternity, Lumina's name was called. "Lumina, you are to be mentored by Snow", Alpha said. Joy filled the apprentice as she stepped forward to meet her mentor.

(Your good, Van! They are typically chosen from birth, and are trained by Phasma and Scree. They are, of course, done being trained.)

But her ki'lling spree was onterupted by the calling of the Alpha. She instantly took flight, answering the call. When the Alpha summoned you, you came. She alighted on the grass and listend intently. " Ah! Yes. Apprentices ," the canine thought watching the proceedings. Kar took careful not of whom was paired with whom, especialy when the Alpha male announced that Raid would learn to be a warrior. " What fortune! Another warrior to add to the troops. " The beta thought that the pack could always use more warriors. Afterall, one could never be too prepared for a surprise attack.

( Oh frick! She's a moon! Sorry about that ^^' Her power is over shadows. )

( LOL! That is an amazing idea, Van! I love it! I'm all for it! )

Rue stood up and started to walk over to the frustrated beta, but before he could get to her and say anything, she flew off... Rues' ears flattened and he sat down huffing a bit, but he quickly calmed himself and closed his eyes saying out loud to himself "Just calm down Rue, once you get to know her better she won't seem as troubling." Rue opened his eyes and frown "Your judgeing her again. She probably does this every night..."

"Ahh...apprentice naming, I believe..." Chiffon yawned once again. Chiffon stood up and trotted to the wall of the den and sniffed for a minute. Her pink-and-purple nose then darted towardd some white flowers, that were stuck in a paw-made indentation in the wall, which she set down in front of Luna. "Val...Valerian will eliminate your sleeplessness." Chif gave Luna a smile and laid back down in her cozy nest, happy to help as always.

Rues' thoughts were interupted by the little gather down below. He got up and walked closer to the edge to look down. He smiled as he watched the new appritasises being asig.ned to their masters. "One day they'll grow up to be masters themselves." he said aloud Then he stood up again and walked down to congragulate the apprentises.

Karoshi nodded with aproval toward the Alpha, pleased at the prospect of another warrior. " But if Raidiation fails . . . ," the wolfess thought, eyeing the young apprentice. She seemed strong enough, but she didn't like the look in Rades eyes. The canine shook herself, preparing to go hunting after the heard of deer when she caught a glimpse of Ruedawn. She scowled and looked down as she walked beside him. The wolf was supppse to obey the Alpha. She would obay the Alpha. She HAD to. " But he's so . . . kind! ," the beta thought sitting down beside him with a huff. " But I might aswell get used to the wolf! I can't believe it . . . and yet I haveto . . . " Karoshi looked at him and he looked at her. " I'm going hunting ," she said flatly with a kind of finality. " Will you come? "

The alpha's call snapped Fawn out of her half-thoughts and she sprinted back to camp. She schreeched to a halt, leaving a small cloud of dust. Her eyes scanned the area and found she had missed the Alpha's announcement. "What did I miss?" she called, not loud enough to disturb those who where sleeping.

(Meeehh I need Snow DX)

Phasma watched as Fawn entered the clearing. His eyes grew hard like ameythists and he lept off of the rock. He walked calmly as he could towards Fawn. "Fawn. You are a tad late for a rather important announcement. You now have an apprentice, Shadow." He turned away quickly, "You should go greet him."

(I'll do something with you, if you like, Opal :3 )

"Yes, sir," Fawn replied, glancing down nervously at her paws. Figures, she thought, the one night she went out was the one she got an apprentice. She turned around briskly. rather excited to meet her first student.

Phasma made his way to the healers' den. "Chif, would you make the binding elixer? We need it to complete the ceremony." He carefully removed one of his feathers, "Don't forget to add this before you have the apprentices and mentors drink."

(Hmm...okay!)
Lumina's marking were glowing to their extreme. "I cannot wait to learn the ways of a warrior, Snow." murmured the apprentice. "Perhaps I should stand vigil throughout this night? Is that not what newly-named apprentices do?" asked Lumina. A silent approval nod from Snow gave her the green light to make her way torwards the camp entrance. As the she-wolf padded over to the moonlit-bathed spot where she would stand vigil, Lumina saw Chiffon out of the corner of her eye. "Oh hey there, Chiffon!" the apprentice called out.

Korish joined him at the bottom, and they sat down together there, but she didn't seem happy to be with him. She kept huffing and making low groaning sounds like being with him was like being slowly tort.ured! She then looked at him and he looked back puting on the friendliest most warm smile he could musture. "I'm going hunting, will you come?" She said flattly, rather resistively But Rue did his best to ignore her tone and instead beamed and said "I would be honored to go hunting with you! We could have a friendly chat while we snife out the pr.ey, and get to know each other better!" Rue stood up still smiling ah waiting her lead

Fawn sighed in defeat as she found her apprentice to be asleep. She sat at the entence of the den, and silentlympromised she woukd greet him bright and early the next morning. Fawn stood, and instead decided to congratulate the other apprentices and their mentors. (Man-Guy isn't online right now, is it okay that i said shadow was asleep?)

"Yessir, Phasma," Chiffon stood up and gave the alpha a curt nod, and gingerly picked up the peacock feather. After Phasma left, one of the newly-named apprentices dropped by. "Why hello there, Lumina," she greeted the young wolf. "Mind my own apprentice...she's been having trouble sleeping, so I dont want her awoken." Chif told the pretty gray wolf in a hushed tone. "I'm making the Binding Elixer for the ceremony tonight...you can watch, if you'd like," Chiffon suggested, as she trotted to the back of her den, carrying the peacock feather as well as some curious brightly colored flowers. Towards the back of the den sat a fairly large bowl containing simple water. Chif fell completely silent a moment, when her blurry gold eyes lit up and the water illuminated. The mystic wolf (copyright s.n.o.w) tossed in the flowers and a few different herbs, then finally layed the peacock feather in. The brew glowed brightly, then the light dulled. Looking in now, you would only be able to see the glimmering water as it shone a different array of colors. Chif smiled. Though she couldn't see it herself, she knew it was good. She could sense the light and color patterns from it. "Now Lum...would you be a dear and help me carry this to the center of the camp?" Chiffon asked her onlooker.

(I honestly had no idea of how to explain that process, so I did what felt right lol.)

Karoshi put on her " diplomatic " grin, but inside she had a certain distain for him that made her want to smak that smile off of his face. " Good. The aprentice ceremony shall be commencing soon. Afterwards we hunt. " The wolfess nodded, as if closing a financial deal with someone, and looked ahead. Ruedawn didn't seem the type that like to talk about attack patterns or legendary battles or variouse long-past wars.

(It was epic lol)

"Wow..." Lumina murmured as she watched in awe. A thousand colored mixtures were clouding the brew, making it rainbow-colored. It smelled of fresh flowers and berries. "Mmm, it looks and smells tasty!" the apprentice noted in a lower tone, licking her lips. Chiffon quickly snapped Lumina out of her zone. "Would you mind helping me carry this to the centerof the camp?" the wolf has asked. "Huh? What? Oh okay. But... can I try something?" Lumina asked with a sneaky smile on her face. "I promise I'll do my best to not make a mess!" she assured.

Fawn moved towards the center of camp, exhaustion finally catching up with her. (i've g2g soon :( )

It took all Rues' strength not to frown, Koroshi was treating him as some diplomatic and not as a future mate! Rue sat back down and managed to reply with out griting his teeth. "I look forward to it!" He then turned back to the aprentises. I hope she warms up too me soon, hell I hope I'll warm up to her soon he thought to himself!

(Alright well I gtg, so... Imma hold off for now. Good night guys! ^-^)

"Hah...wait til the ceremony, dear..." Chif chuckled, recalling her younger days. The mixtures always did feel nice on her tongue. "Now...let's get this to camp," Chif commanded simply, putting the bowl mostly on her back, and an edge on Lumina's as not to put too much weight on her. The two made their way to the center of the camp with ease, and set the mixture down in the very middle. "Mister Alpha, your request has been fulfilled!" Chif chirped up, turning towards the direction in which she could sense Phasma. Chiffon didn't like being incredibly formal with the alpha unless the situation was dire. She figured with him being alpha, he'd need a little bit of joy poked into his life whether he liked it or not.

Scree walked out of their den. looking at all the wolves, some rather jittery,(how do spell??x3) walking around. She had heard the announcements from inside the stone walls of the den.
Smiling she plodded across the damp grass the where phasma stood. she nuzzled him lightly then asked "how do the apprentices like the choices?" she looked around to the wolves, seeing Chiff making the elixer in his cave with Lumina watching intently.

Phasma looked at his mate. "They seem to be happy. I just hope I made the right choices..." He smiled a little when Chiffon called him. He always liked her, she was a very positive wolf. He looked aback at Scree before yawning again. He closed his eyes for a few seconds before walking towards the center of camp. The water was always a beautiful sight. He sighed tiredly and walked back to his den. He needed sleep, he hadn't slept for several nights, between the other packs coming to close to the borders, deciding who should mentor who, and preparing for the new couple's marriage. He layed in his bedding and looked up at the soft light of the moon, and then to Scree.

Rue turned to Koroshi as the medics brought up the bowl. He just had to ask her something, he didn't like being all formal and stuff espassally to someone he'd be spending the rest of his life with "What do you remember of your apprentiship?"

(Oh my goodness. I'm so lost right now! XD Can anyone catch me up?)

Fawn couldn't fight her exhuastion any longer, she was already almost asleep when she realized she was still in the center of camp. A growl rumbled in her throat as she forced herself up and practically dragged herself to the den. She layed i the nest made of grasses and fell into the sweet carresse (spelling, ugh) of sleep.
(I've got to go, I'll see if i can go on tommorrow night bcus my cousins r coming and if they see me on they will look through my stuff. Until then, goodnight!)

( @Misty, apprentices have just been named and the ceremony is currently going on. I've(Chiffon) made the elixer, and we're all just kinda gathered at the center of the camp)

She turned to look at all the lovely wolves. bustling around, enjoying themselves and everyone else. her eyes shone with a glow from her light powers and she smiled. her gaze shifted to her lovely mate, he looked ragged and tired yet still happy and peaceful. theirs eye locked and she walked into their cave. laying down beside him so their sides touched. his skin felt warm beside hers. "i know you made the right choice." said smile. "now, get some sleep before you pass out."

Snow walked out of camp, to make a small patrol, to insure that the ceremony went off without any interuptions. She came to a stop with a smile. Snow was so happy that Lumina was her apprentice. How ironic that her apprentice has power over water, and her (Snow) has power over ice/snow. Snow looked down, saw a small puddle. She barely touched it, it froze. The patrol came up with nothing. With that she headed back.

(Thanks Passion!) Karthania walked into this large, bustling group. All the happy faces were like lovely stars twinkling. It made her happy to be here...

(Thx Passion! :3) Phasma smiled at Scree. She always knew the right things to say. He took a deep breath and allowed himself to relax for once. He closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep. The apprentices would stand vigil tonight, and the binding elixer would be used tomorrow, after the celestial bodies had blessed it.

(I have to go to bed now. Sorry about earlier, there was a bad thunderstorn. I will pick back up tomorrow.)

Karoshi was snapped out of her deep and inticate thougts concerning war criminals when that Ruedawn asked her about her apprenticeship. " What? Oh . . . Yes . . . It was very . . . intense . . . The entire pack was at war with the Cataclispack ( if thats alright with you, Dreamkitten ). It was a very bloody, dark time. Alpha Phasma and Alpha Scree were not Alphas as they are now. The Alpha whom I was trained under was a proud, battle-scard, unforgiving wolf by the title of Impact. He was quite . . . strict. He restricted the amount of food I was given, the amount of sleep I was aloud, he was constantly sparring with me, which usualy ended with me being taken to the healers, and put me to work on the front lines. I remember quite clearly that, whenever I made a mistake, he would clamp his jaws around mine paw. Occasionaly he would break my left wing. Ironicaly he died in an ambush just after I had finished my apprenticiship. Still . . . He was a great warrior . . . " The wolfess was silent for a time, lost in memory. " Ruedawn ," she began looking at him in her usual seriouse expression. " what yours like? "

(I have a silly question. Is this nighttime?)

(yup it is!) As Scree felt Phas,a settle into a deep sleep she quietly got up. she didnt want to leave his side, but she also wanted to see how the mentors were doing with the new apprentices. she padded out of the cave and wandered about taking in the sight of all the pack wolves

Kar sat down. Her feet were sore from the journeys of the day. She watched as all the young apprentices lept for joy to be taught their skills. "In all my days, I've never seen a happier group." Her face grew cheerful. She remembered the day when she was an apprentice. "If hope these young ones are better behaved than I". (Sorry I'm being so dull. I'm super tired and my mind is blank)

Chiffon decided she was going to rest. "Now...ya'll young'uns take a drink of the elixer before Phasma says so, and good ol' Chif will have your tails..." Chiffon said stiffly, not being able to help a chuckle from slipping out as she returned to her den. She plopped down in her nest and smiled. The scent of the comforting surrounds helped her to drift off to sleep quicker.

(Peace guys! I'm off to sleep)

(Goodbye Passion!) Kar, feeling kind of bored, took a drop of water. She blew it into the air, and it came down. The starlight shone on the drops, letting out bright streaks of light all over the place. It was beautiful! "And now, I shall depart to my bed."

Rue was surprised that Koroshi answered him, but she did so, so formally... "Mine oh mine was mostley like yours... my father could be quite strict... but he never injurded me /physically that is, he said to himself/ I'm sorry that you were treated so wrongly..." The other wolfs had started departing so Rue thought he'd try and change the subject "So are you ready to go hunting? I'm di.eing to know more about you!" He put on a great big smill trying to cheer her up a bit. She liked hunting it seemed, and fighting and war... but all he could give her was hopfully a good hunt.

Scree wandered. noticing most of the wolves her heading to sleep. the air grew quiet and she lay down in the grass. looking up to the stars as she rolled onto her back. the silence was lovely, she cherished every second.
/The stars seem exceptionaly bright tonight/ she thought to herself. waving her paw in the air a small brush stroke of yellow coloured light travelled with her paw, leaving a what looked like a path in the stars. the light stayed for a minute. shining in her grey eyes. then slowly faded.

Karoshi listend to him intently, detecting notes of pain in his voice, but she wasn't about to say anything. If he didn't wish to speak of it, then they would not. " Perhaps there is more to this wolf then I first suspected . . . ? ," the wolfess thought to herself, looking him up and down. Kar nodded, her blood oncemore starting to boil at his joyful grin. " We are indeed, " she said plainly and shuffled her wings. The beta desired so badly to fly, but decided to accomodate the wolf and sprint along-side him. " What will be your pr'ey of choice be tonight? Rabbit, deer, fox, feline, ferret, headgehog, elk, or moose? We have a bounty of them in this area and tracking them will be quite easy enough. "

Rue sniffed the air for a minute then answered "There's a moose sent in the air, do you want to hunt that?" Koroshi nooded and then they were off sprinting threw the forest! It didn't take long for them to take down the moose that Rue had caute a wift of. As they were eating the flavory meat Rue asked Koroshi "So what is your favorite section of this forest?"

(Sorry for being so late!) Raid looked up at Ice, her little tail wagging happily. She could almost burst from excitement... although she then realized the blue flames along her back were getting a bit wild so she did her best to calm down. Her powers were so hard to control...She wanted to prove herself and Ice seemed kind and thoughtful. Hopefully she could empress her! (Raid is very young and innocent at this point 0w0) "It is a pleasure to be your apprentice Ice!" She yipped happily. "When can we go train? And hunt! Ooo, and fight!" She barked, although a playful growl slipped into her last words. Her wide orange eyes were curious although something about this pup was wrong...Very wrong. She would need to be observed carefully.

Karoshi tore off a chunk of the tender meag and swallowed it whole. Moose was her third favorite prey. The wolfess pondered the wolf's question for a time. " Evelans Green ," she said finaly and ripped another strip off of the carcass. " Atleast, that is what I have christend the place. I found it before I had been entered into this pack ( she still has her origional history in this rp with some tweeks in the time frame, if thats alright. ) and started my apprenticeship. " The beta swallowed the strip of food in her maw and looked at Ruedawn expectantly. " Well?! Are not you about to ask me to take you there sometime?! Tomorrow, perhaps. It is much too far to reach at the present moment. " The canine yawned and stood. She stretched. " This question may seem odd to thee, Ruedawn, but have you ever wished to aspire to Alpha . . . ? "

As the light faded and the stsrs replaced the glow, something filled her head. a voice. "light is of weakness! darkness is your ally." Scree jumped up, startled. the voice wasdeep, raspy, yet almost foggy... like you couldnt grasp where it came from. she looked around her wide eyed for the sorce of the voice, but no one else was there. then it came agsin "use your fire! you could burn everything." the voice was loud in her head. she grimaced "what the heII?" she mumbled. and just like that it was gone. Scree looked around again, frightened. she saw Raid and Ice not far away but that was it. they didnt seem to hear it...
she closed her eyes trying to forget it. slowly, shakily she stood back up and went to go sleep in her cave. She decided not to tell anyone about the voice, not even Phasma. /it wont mean anything, its just one secret.. everyone has secrets...right?/ she lay back down beside her sleeping mate feeling the press of his side against hers as she fell asleep too.

(Yes the heat from Raid's flames won't hurt you if she trusts you) "Oh ok." Raid said, allowing herself to relax, Although with a sleepy yawn she looked up at the white she-wolf. "Won't it be hard to stay awake all night since I am a sun elemental?" She asked co.cking her little head.

"Yes you must take me there sometime!" Replied Rue quickly after Karnine made the comment, but he then frowned openly to her next question, it brought up dark memories... "I... I uhmmm... *hangs head low* I never really wanted to be a beta, let alone a Alpha..." Said Rue truefully Might as well get the truth out now, your going to be mates with this shewolf for the rest of your life, so there's no point in li.eing. That would only make the relationship a life time of secrets and pains. he thought to himself... He waited for her to scorn him, being the warrior she was she'd be constently looking for a rank advancement and to be mated with someone who had no intrest in advancement would only bring shame... maybe it would've been best to li.e, now she'll really hate this mateage, and now she'l have distain for him through out their mateage, swell going Rue!

After the apprentice ceremony, Lumina went to sit next to Raid for vigil. "So... you're a solar wolf, right? Fire or light?" Lumina quietly said, trying to make conversation. The moon was full and she could feel herself filling with power. There had got to be some water somewhere...
/Why is there a frozen puddle there?/ (Snow's puddle, remember?) "Um... Raid? Think you melt that ice so I try bending that puddle?" Lumina suggested. She could somewhat control water with her mind...

Raid gave Lumina an odd look "Fire, I control fire" She said, and she looked at the ice. "Oh sure!" She said in response. She bounded over to the ice block and focused, or at least tried to. Little blue balls of fire began floating in the air around her (An advanced move for one young) and then sent them at the ice block. It was melted in no time, although the flames had sienged the nearby grass, Raid stopped on the remaining sparks and then looked at Lumina, "Is that good?" Raid said wagging her tail.

Karoshi looked at him in an odd way. She wasn't really surprised. He wasn't an ambishious wolf, let alone a warrior. The wolfess sighed, shaking her head. " I do not believe that I shall ever understand wolves without ambishion ," she said, shuffling her wings. " But I suppose giving and obeying orders for the whole of mine life has left me with little time for understanding. " " I just hope he is as good a leader as he is a smiler ," the canine thought to herself. Kar yawned, her razor-sharp teeth flashing in the moonlight. The beta tilted her head alittle, scowling. " I recall clearly the day I was chosen to be beta ," she began, sitting down on a patch of soft clover. " I was on the frontlines, deploying warriors along the Blackbane River and positioning sun wolves on the surrounding cliffs when they told me of my new position. Ha! I was so pleased that I actualy leapt in delight infront of the warriors. Ofcourse, one of the rogues we were fighting off then let loose a shower of icycles upon us . . . ' Education is power. Joy is weakness ,' as my mentor once said. They were very true in that instance . . . five wolves died dut to that ice shower . . . " Karoshi stood, frowning as usual. " If you wouldn't mind, I am going to retire to the den. Join me if you wish. " Kar nodded to him and started to walk off. Reminising of past battles usualy lifted her spirits. They almost made her smile. But that day had not been a good one to recall. " In war, there are casualtys ," the canine thought.

(Sorry I'm so late guys! I didn't check my DS last night. :/ So how does this work? What are the rules and systems of this pack? And what's going on? Everyone seems to be doing their own thing at the same time. Some sleeping white some are hunting while some are talking... And there's this thing with apprenticeship and an elixer? Also where do the roles come to play? i.e. Hunter (I'm a hunter) Medic, Warrior etc. Oh man did I miss something!? The only things I've seen about the RP are this and the sign up page thing. -.-)

( @Angle We're all kinda doing our own thing, currently. The apprentices are sitting vigil and having their own little convos. Most of us are sleeping, and I believe the betas just got done with a little hunt. I'd say you can just jump in when Dream aka Phasma announces it's dawn and we finish the apprentice ceremony. If you're still lost, explain on what. Im happy to help :] )

(The rules are basically no ki.lling others charas, no god-modding, power playing and saying you have two powers. So far, Karoshi and Rue have gone to hunt and get to know each other. Phasma has named apprentices to mentors, and in the morning must ceremonially drink a 'binding elixer'. We have discovered Raid might be a challenge, as she is very strong for a young pup, and Scree has had a 'foretelling' sort of thing about her. The apprentices are standing vigil until the morning)

Phasma opened his eyes to see his mate lying beside him. He carefully got up as not to disturb her. He had had a troubling nightmare- it was filled with unstoppable flame. He made his way to the apprentices, and nodded his congrats. They had made it through the night. "Would you wake your mentors? We must finish the ceremony." He padded to the center of camp, and sat next to the elixer.

Rue smiled and stood up to walk beside Kar "I would gladly acompainy you, but a comment on what you said. Joy is what motivates a solider, as well as love, and kindness. If you show that solider kindness they will be more willing to obey and follow you, even if the orders seem stupid and reclase. That's why a mean general is more likely to be abandoned before the kind one. /that is how my father di.ed he wanted to add but kept that part out/" He looked at Kar who had an almost surprised look. "Don't look surprised, I am a beta as well aren't I? You don't get that rank doing nothing but smiling and waveing. That's just my personallity towards my soliders and others as well. I hope you will come to except that in me as I will come to except you." He chestured forward and they started walking slowly.

Karoshi hesitated, then nodded. She was having trouble accepting that idea. Was that reallu true? The wolfess walked on in silence, feeling uncomfortable. The beta realised she had started feeling more at ease around Ruedawn . . . and maybe more then that . . . " I am disgusting ," the she wolf thought. How could a proud warrior like start to become . . . "attached ", as she decided to put it, to a wolf that didn't even want to be Alpha?! Kar simply didn't understand herself. Eventualy the two entered the packs main encampment. The canine sat down, tapping a paw uneasily on the floor. " The ceremony is ending ," Karoshi said to Ruedawn in a hushed voice.

"Oh this is my favorite part." Said Rue with his eyes squeezed shut, trying to contain his excitment "Do you remember how the elixure tasted?" He asked then he noticed that Karoishi was tapping her paw on the ground. Was she nervas, or impaitently wait to get away from him?... His ears twitched alittle at the thought and he turned back to the cerimony trying to show great excitment, but he found it hard now...

Raid nodded happily, although she was still a bit drowsy. "Yes Alpha!" She said bounding to Ice. "Ice! Ice! It's time to get up!" She barked as she pawed at her mentor.

" Yes ," Karoshi said flatly, looking away. She just had to make it through the ceremony! Then she could pace about and shift uneasily in the den as much as she pleased! The beta clenched her jaw. He was smiling again! It was terribly irritating! And yet kind'ave nice . . . The wolfess lifted her wings high and stood up strater with a paw raised as the apprentecis and mentors started to gather. It was how she had learned to stand at attention in the N.A.M ( New Age Militia ) and this was the best way she knew how to show her respect to them and to honor the young wolves.

Chiffon's ears twitched as she woke up. The apprentice ceremony was starting! She knew this one was different, considering these pups would serve for their pack by hunting and fighting, so they would drink the binding elixer to bring them closer to their mentors, as well as some other things Chif didn't quite understand. Luna's apprentice ceremony went a little differently. Chiffon picked the pup herself, then discussed with Phasma, rather than the alpha doing all the work. Luna also would get the privilage to drink an elixer until later on, being another difference. Chiffon stood up, shaking the memories and nudging the light blue wolf. "Luna...you might wanna come see the apprentice ceremony..." the healer whispered into her apprentice's ear before slinking off to camp. It was no rush. The mentors had to wake up as well. "Greetings!" Chif barked cheerfully as she entered the camp. "Been a while since I've seen pups as eagar as these ones to undergo this ceremony..." Chif trailed off in thought, recalling her own peers apprentice ceremony. Chif was determined to never harm a living being, so she took the path of becoming the pack healer, which she excelled at.

"Glad to see you found your way!" Chiffon gave Luna a warm smile and curled her long, fluffy tail around the smaller wolf's paws in attempt to comfort her. Chif knew the wolf was shy, and did everything she could to make her feel good.

Rue turned to Kar when she lifted her wings and stiffened up. He set a paw on her should and said "Relax, it's not like we're sending them off to war, plus you'll probably make them nervous if yuh get all formal on them. This is a happy day for them show them that your proud." Rue smiled warmly at her and took his paw off /I hope I didn't over step my bounderies he thought to himself but then relaxed again. Your going to be mates with her and your afraid that seting a paw on her shoulder is a over step!?/

Raid manged to wake up Ice and then bounded over to where the other apprentices were sitting. She greeted them and took a look around eagerly waiting for the ceremony to start. Although at one point her eyes caught with Rue's. He gave her a pleasent smile she returned it, wagging her tail excitedly.

Barks and yaps filled Scree's ears as she woke up. She hadnt slept well but it would have to do. peering out she saw the pack gathering again for the binding. She stood up to join them and saw Raid rushing past her excitedly, Scree smiled, she liked this wolf. crossing the distance between her and the group she sat down to watch the ceremony, her eyes glowing lightly with her own excitement.

"And then...I believe some unspoken bond occures...and their training begins!" The pastel wolf responded to her apprentice's question with ease. Chiffon sniffed the air, and detected the gray apprentice-wolf called "Raidium" or "Raid" for short. She was easy to pick out, due to the constant buring fire. /Hmmm...That one may cause some accidental injuries...she's very energized, and for a wolf of fire, that could be fatal...though considering she's an apprentice, she would probably only singe a few hairs.../ Chif became lost in thought. She'd never come encounter with a wolf of Raid's sort. Her future would definitely be an interesting one. Snapping from her thoughts, she turned to Luna. "Would you like to see how the other young 'uns are feeling?" she asked. Maybe her apprentice just needed a little push to socialize.

Karoshi flinched at the feeling of Ruedawn's paw on her shoulder. The canine hadn't had phisical contact with another wolf since the end of the war, snd that had been only because they were trying to ki'll oneanother. But this time, it wasn't some rogue or pack wolf trying to teat her wings off. It was friendly, warm, inviting, and it was Ruedawns. She wasn't listening to him most of time. The wolfess was too busy feeling uncomfortable. " Very well ," the beta said and relaxed, letting her wings droop and her paw down, but still sitting up strait. Kar nodded to the wolves, frowning.

(Ah, sorries Raven. I kept thinking periodic table of elements for some reason...)

(I ment realized again not relaxed again sorry Fall) Rue felt horrible, Karoishi didn't like him at all, she had flintched when he had touched her, and treated him like some diplomac! Just like father all over again he thought to himself except you can escape from this one, you'll be mates with her! She wasn't a bad wolf, no she was good to the pack in her own way, probably in the only way she knows how to be, but still... was there something so disgusting about him that she just couldn't stand? Maybe it was the fact that he was male, there were alot of nasty and vogor males fighting in the war. Maybe she was giving him a wrong impression cause of those wolfs, not all males acted that way. He turned to Karoshi and said "I'm sorry... I'm sorry if I've over steped my boundries... I would never mean to cause offense to you... /even though I'm sure if you could hear my thoughts you'd be deeply offended he wanted to add but held his toughne/" He looked back at the apprentises and tried to empty his mind of everything.

Raid then saw another apprentice sit down. "Oh hi Luna!" Raid yipped invitingly.

Snow walked slowly up to the group of wolves. She was so excited for the apprentice ceremony to begin. Snow never had a apprentice before, she was slightly quivering with nerves. Snow looked around for her apprentice, as she came to a stop and sit down to wait.

(I have a question. I it ok that Snow has three powers? I was just wondering.)

Lumina watched as another came up to Raid. Well... looks like trying to bend that puddle will have to wait. Disappointed, the lunar apprentice looked around to see if anyone else could talk. Suddenly Lumina spotted her new mentor. "Hey, Snow!" the apprentice barked. "Think you should show me some 'cool' tricks?" she said, intentionally making the pun.

"Hi there Lumina. I am glad that you made it through you'r first vigil" Snow barked with a smile. "I will start to teach you stuff after the ceremony." replied Snow. "It might be interseting. That you have powers over water and i over ice/snow." Snow tilted her head sideways and looked at Lumina.

Phasma noted most of the pack was here, and they were prepared to begin. He nodded at Chiffon and Scree before calling up the first pair. "Ice and Raid, please step forward." The two wolves did as they were told, and aligned themselves before Phasma. Phasma allowed his feathers to splay outwards in a magnificent fashion. "Ice, you take the first sip." Ice did, and with a small shudder of rememberance, she stepped back to make room for Raid.

Karoshi shifted her position, looking at Ruedawn with confusion. Why was he apologising to her?! She had been entirely hostile toward him and the wolfess obviously wasn't his type! " I accept your apology ," the canine said and lobserved the ceremony's proceedings. " And I . . . apologise . . . ," Karoshi added quietly. She never apologised, but this time was the exception.

Karthania walked in just in time. She didn't want to disturb the meeting. "Later, I must ask for names. I feel like a stranger." She said as she sat down on a large stump.

Scree noticed as Karthania came walking in. As she watched, something seemed to be on her mind. quietly she walked over to the wolf. "something on your mind Kar?" she didnt want to say it but Kar seemed a little but on the out of the pack, Scree wanted to make sure she knew she was still apart of the pack.

"Well, maybe I can learn how to freeeeeze stuff too!" Lumina said with an innocent big grin. Snow's serious and disapproving glare told the apprentice that the time wasn't appropriate, and immediately Lumina put on her 'serious face'. "In the meantime", the lunar wolf continued in a much more posed and serious tone, "Shall we go drink this Ceremonial Elixir?"

Raid's eyes were wide with wonder as she looked at the cup. "Now you Raid" Phasma said. Raid looked up at him, would she be that big someday? Would she be alpha? She smiled and took a sip of the liquid, it was odd, somewhat bitter but it sent a burst of strength into her. Her orange eyes glowed as the bond was formed, she felt a tingling sensation and then it ebbed away. A vision suddenly revealed it self of her and her mentor standing beside each other as Raid grew. And then it dispated in a burst of flames...Everything burning! Raid gasped as the vision faded. Both Phasma and Ice looked at her oddly. She smiled innocently, although the vision still bothered her...What did it mean?

"Yes." replied Snow to her apprentice. "But i think we have to be called up in turn." Said Snow. She looked up at the alpha, and bowed her head deeply in a sigh of respect.

Lumina groaned under her breath and bowed next to her mentor. /I wonder... is it even possible for a lunar wolf to learn how to freeze water? Would that not count as ice? Then how could Snow teach me anything besides the basics of a warrior's techniques?/ Lumina pondered. /Oh well. I'll just have to see later./

"Oh, hello Scree." Karthania smiled. "I'm fine." She scooted over to provide room for Scree to sit down. She was feeling quite lonely at the moment.

She smiled as the wolf made room for her. "I hope you dont mind if a sit with you for a bit." Kar was a friendly wolf, she wondered why she hadnt seen her interacting much with the others. Her eyes momentarily layed onto the center of the pack where the elixer was being given out. "Do you remember your mentor Kar?"Scree was gernerally curious about many of the wolves pasts.

Phasma smiled at Raid and Ice. He nodded and they took their places in the front of the crowd. "Lumina and Snow, your next." The apprentice bounced forward and Snow followed, more serious. "Snow, you drink first of course, and then Lumina." He nodded, and splayed his feathers once more.

Rue quickly said "There's no need to appolagize to me, you've done nothing wrong but be who you are, and that's something you should ever have to appolagize for..." Rue watched as the mentors and apprentises started taking sips from the elix.

" I suppose you are correct ," Karoshi said, watching the ongoings. " Yes ," she began, whispering Ruedawn so as not to disturb anyone. " Raidiation will make a fine warrior, . . . as long as she can control herself. Spirit can be quite powerful in battle, but if there be too much of it in her that will surely present a problem . . . " The beta stopped there.

Snow stepped forward and took a sip of the elixer. She felt this strange feeling in her. A even more closer bond with her apprentice. It even left a wierd taste in her mouth, it wasn't a bad taste but a diffrent one. Snow nodded to the alpha and stepped back. Waiting for her apprentice to do the same.

Rue whispered back "There is something about Raid that I'm not to sure about... maybe it's because she is so young, she should have more time to be a pup before she becomes a warrior..." Rue glanced at Kar threw the crack of his eye

Raid followed Ice to go and sit down, though this time she was calm, her stride normal. Her dared not look into anyones eyes, for they could reveal the worry within her.

"Yes. I remember him as if it were yesterday. He was quite the kind wolf. Very forgiving and quiet. He was like a father to me. I do miss him." She started to sigh. "How about yours?" She looked toward the content Scree studying the wolves.

Karoshi thought for a moment, pondering Ruedawn's words. " I began my traibing when I was younger then she ," the wolfess said, looking over at the pup. " I was energetic, eager, and rather happy. But that was whipped out of me soon enough. Perhaps the pup should be given more time. Perhaps it be better for this Radiation to learn about the world we live in sooner. Who can say? But I sence that it is more then the aprentices age. She is unusualy powerful . . . This youngling should not have this kind of power as of yet . . . It is . . . disturbing to me. What do you have to say on this? "

Rue turned to Kar rather shocked "They started your training even early? /even earlier then me he thought to himself, for he was about raids' age when he started his training/ What kind of pack did you come from, that's blastamy to start a wolfs' training so young espasally as a warrior?" Rue tried to keep his voice down to a whisper but it was hard too mantain it. He set his paw on her shoulder again and said "I truly am sorry that you had to go threw such trials... you should've been given more time to explore a be a pup..." Then the next thing Rue did surprised even himself, he pulled Karoshi into an embrass. "You didn't deserve that kind of a puppy hood (or childhood puppy hood sounds weird). I can tell now you deserve far better." Rue had a sort of an eye opener, he understood now, a little at least of why Kar acts the way she does. He pulled out of the embrass and gave her a warm smile "As for Raid I do agree with you she does have alot of power for her age, but that doesn't mean you can speed up the prosess, other things need to grow first... but I feel that she'll do find as long as we look after her." He smilled at her again then turned his attention back to the cerimony

Lumina stepped forward, dignity and calm suddenly filling her. For a split second, she could feel herself like a relaxed, older she-wolf, filled with wisdom and maturity. But that feeling quickly vanished as the apprentice shared glances with the Alpha. Sweet starlight was he imposing. Lumina crouched down to drink. The mixture tasted very strange. It was like memories and visions infused and concentrated in a drink. It tasted bitter yet slightly sweet, like a life full of of tough times with a little hope. Then the taste faded, leaving a dry feeling in Lumina's mouth. Just as the lunar apprentice thought she could go back to her spot, Lumina froze in place. Images of fire and danger filled her sight. The apprentice could see herself lifting a water streak in the air, and slashing at the flames in hope of making them die out. Snow's voice shouted from somewhere, "Freeze the water! Feel the cold!" but as much as she tried, Lumina's water powers would not freeze. Then, after a few minutes, the flames grew stronger and stronger until ashes made the air toxic. "No!" Lumina shouted, shutting her eyes. As she reopened them, the vision vanished. Everyone was giving her strange looks. Maybe they had heard the apprentice's shout... with a slightly exasperated look, Phasma motioned to Lumina to step back. His eyes could almost whisper something lie, "Why is it that everytime apprentices drink this, they always scream?"

Karoshi was shocked when Ruedawn . . . hugged her! She didn't understand it! Why was he being so . . . so kind?! The beta carefuly raised a paw and rapped it around Rue. " I am sorry for you ," the canine said softly and, as Ruedawn smiled, felt something. It was a strange feeling, but one she had had just once before. It was like a perpetual joy and affection. An attachment. A longing. Kar smiled alittle, showing her gratitude, but troubled. " Its happening again ," she thought. " I'll tell you about my . . . pack . . . when I take you to Evelan's Green. " Karoshi said to her future mate, sitting alittle closer to him this time.

Karoshi stood up instantly at the mystic wolf's cry. Her muscled had already tensed, her wings had been raised slightly and the wolfess had begun to stalk toward the wolfess, but with a singal look from Phasma she had stopped instantly. Kar looked at Luna susp'iciously, then backed away to Ruedawn's side, still tense.

Karthania sat motionless. Her eyes fixed on the young apprentice. She was tensed up.

Phasma looked at the water, and then to the sky. First a nightmare, and now this? "Fawn, Shadow, do this swiftly."

The ceremony was over and it had gone completely wrong. He paced back and forth around the camp, rage was slowly building up in him. It had to be under his rule, the first time the ceremony went south. He slumped out of the camp and held back a snarl of frustration. He padded until he reached the stream dividing the broad-leaf forest from the needle leaf. He sat down underneath the shade of an oak, and leaned on the trunk. He sighed. Maybe he was over-reacting. A bunny hopped right in front of him and sat there, just watching him. He didn't feel like hunting so he just looked right back at it.

Raid nodded gratefully at Ice, but froze as she heard a cry "NO!" The pup looked up and saw Lumina looking frightened. Raid's eyes widened. Had Lumina seen the same thing she had? Raid watched Lumina desend from the rock and met eyes with her for a moment...Lumina seemed to tense and tore her gaze away. Raid's own eyes widened. She sort of sulked, this was all so confusing...What was happening?

Only a short while after the ceremony, Chiffon shuffled frantically around the healers' den. She could feel Luna's curious gaze follow her as she scrambled back and forth. "Ahh, here it is!" Chif cried, "Lemonbalm...relieves anxiety and eases depression...remember that one, Luna. It's a very important herb," the older healer simply stated before grabing a few stocks and bounding off. Before long, she came upon the area where the seasonal trees met the ones that thrived year-round. "Phsmer?" Chiffon tried to call through her full mouth, the lemon-scented herbs getting in the way. "Phsmer, er kner yer erernd (Phasma I know you're around)..." her words seemed to stumble over each other, before she set her leaves and stems down. "Phasma...let your healwolf ease that tension..." Chiffon could sense it. The alpha and healer were usually meant to have a strong bond, considering they could sense some things others couldn't.

After the ceremony Raid tried to stay away from everyone, she was afraid...she didn't understand, wasn't the ceremony suppossed to be happy? She sighed and lowered herself into her nest. Maybe sleep would help her...

Raid began to dream, she was in a field, and there was this wolf in the distance, large and imposing, she couldn't see anything about the wolf except it's blue fire mane....Raid gasped she watched fire engulf the wolf and the plains surrounding it...She heard scr.ea.ming and saw the shadowy form of other wolves. Even the blue fire wolf seemed to cry out...Was that wolf her? In the future?! (The wolf is fully grown in her dream) Raid began to run in her dream, crying...Why did she feel warm all the sudden? Her eyes snapped open into reality. "Raid! RAID! Get up!" Some wolf called, she got up groggily only to discover that she was completely cloaked in fire! Her nest had completely burned and the grass around it was catching fire! Raid screamed and ran out of the den. She didn't understand! Voices called after her but she ignored them, They would all hate her now...what if the fire had burned other places in the camp! She shouldn't have run...She heard pawsteps behind her but she kept running, feeling the flames slowly fade from her tiny body...She was growing tired (Being a pup, especially one of fire she grew tired very quickly) She keep on running until she found herself on a short cliff top, (Very short) which she foolishly jumped off of...right in to the river below...She fought to stay above water...but she began weakining until she simply disapeared under the churning water...her lungs hurt...everything was growing numb and dark...Until she felt jaws clamp around her scruff. She was pulled from the river and placed on the shore, gasping for air. "Shhh...you're alright..." A voice said. Raid tried to look up but simply dropped her head and blacked out...

Karoshi was trotting off with Ruedawn to their den, deep in thought, when an unusual sent wafted around her. Kar stopped for a moment, sniffing the air. " Smoke ," she muttered. Without a second thought the wolfess dashed toward the scents primary location. The beta slid infront of a den, a fire engulfing a nest and spreading and in the center was that pup. " Radiation! Wake up! ," Karoshi yelled, shaking the pup as she hovered low above the flames. The youngling suddenly awoke and instantly took of. " RAAAAADE! ," the beta scre'amed, both concerened and angered. She would have followed in pursuit, but afew other wolves had already taken the initiative. The canine huffed and landing next to the flames, calling for some one to put out the flames. Anyone with power over water would do! It just had to be put out! Karoshi snarled, beating her wings infront of the flames, helping to drive the fire back into the cave. " What a grand evening! ," she said to herself, sarcasm apparent in her voice.

The rest of the ceromony went by quickly, even the little part were (forgot name sorry) had a vision. Rue had a vision when he drank the stuff but he had stifled his crys, poor pup he thought it must've been a horrible vision... After the ceromony was over he started walking back to his den and surprisingly Karoshi acompanied him. But then she said smoke and ran off into the appranises den! Rue ran after her, she scre.amed out Raid! And the little pup ran out on Fire! Rue presuid the cub as fast as he could, he was about to crab the pup by the scruff of the neck when she jumped!?! She had jumped off the small cliff and into the water! Rue could see that she was haveing difficulty swim so he quickly acted, he jumped too! A shock went threw him as he landed into the cold water, and he gasped! How did the pup not drown when he first fell in he wondered? Rue grabed raid by the scruff of te neck and dragged her to shore. "Raid, Raid are you okay?!" He asked nosilying her (Raid is a her? I think I've got it wrong I can't remember all asudden and I'm like crap) Rue took his paws and pressed hard on the little pups chest. Raid choked and then spluttered out water! Rue then nossieled her and asked "Raid are you okay, lets get you back to the pack so the medics can take a look at you."

(sorry raven I didn't keep it too well to your comment I'll rewrite it) Rue dragged raid from the water to the shore. Raid couphed and spluttered and Rue tried to calm the pup by saying sothingly "Shhh it's all right, your okay now, shhh." He nuzzled her chently trying to help asure Raid that someone was there for her. He sat there saying reasuring things to her and telling to relax that she was okay. He waited for Raid to regain her strength alittle, then he grabbed her by the scruff of the neck and carried her back. By then the fire had been put out and everyone was in a sort of frenzy. Karoshi caute a glimpce of him and saw that he and raid were wet. She gave him a look that asked What happened, but Rue couldn't answer, he still held Raid in his mouth. She was shivering terribly and needed warm. He set her on a soft new nest and asked "Somewolf get something warm to put over her, she needs to get warm, does anyone know fire?" A wolf nooded (someone can jump in there) and ran off (or if their character knows fire, just comes over and starts one idk) Seeing that Raid would be taken care off he walked over to Karoshi who wasn't far from the site and told her of what happened "She jumped into the river, probably to put out the fire *shivers a bit* and I jumped in after her... but when I pulled her out, there were no burn marks." He turned to face her still shivering from being wet

Well, I'm going to be gone at a camp and be back in six days, and right now it's super late, and I'm tired, and I'm confused. So... I may not be posting, or have to resign. If you guys don't want me, then that's totally fine; I'm confused anyways. Or maybe we could make Onyx be some lone wolf they stumble on and eventually gets into the pack later? -_-

But anyways, to sum up my previous questions (that were apparently deleted):

-Where do the rannkings come to play? (Medic, hunter, warrior) And what are their differences?

-What's this about with the apprenticeship and elixers?

-How old is my character supposed to be? I created her with a teen/young adult age in mind, but I think someone tried to apprentice her or something.)

(blah i was gone and now slightly lost. what ever, im gonna post something before and after the time lapse) Scree paused for a minute, Karthania's mentor sounded lovely "well, he was a great teacher." she replied politely. then stopped to think. "my mentor, wasnt really that at all. He never taught me, only expected me to do what i had to. You see, my pack had been ruthless, merciles...heartless-" she said this almost darkly with a hint of sorrow. "So, i was actualy trained by the old hunter. He was of earth powers but still managed to teach me." She stared at Karthania with a small tear in her eye. Phasma was the only one who knew this story... "But one day, my "mentor" caught me being taught by the hunter, he drowned the wolf and beat me till I begged him for mercy." At this her voice went cold. "The next night, I ran off. Swearing to raise a better pack than the one i had been brought up in." She looked away, Scree didnt know why she had just said all she did, something just felt right about.
*now after the time lapse*
After the little "show"at the ceremony, Scree had gone off to be by herself. She needed time to think. The way that young wolf had acted, seemed like he had some sort of vision /could it have been like the voices?/ she pondered her questions but could find know answer. As she decided to head back to Phasma a blinding sound erupted in her head. Scree fell to the ground with a yelp, but something entered her mind, visions.
There was fire, everywhere. The voices were yelling at her victoriously. she looked at the flames and screamed.
the vision ended just as suddenly and she was left on her side laying in the grass in a cold sweat. She coulsnt face Phasma like this! what would he think?

Raid shivered badly, but reassuring voice helped to calm her down...The flames are her back had been extingushed, making her almost look barren. At least some wolf still cared...Raid heard pawsteps and a certain...crackling sound. The next thing she knew she was warming up, little blue sparks begining to form along her neck once more. When the flame became more steady she slowly opened her eyes, there before her were Ruedawn and Ice. Raid's eyes seemed confused, and then it hit her. She was alive and probably in huge trouble...Although as Raid looked up at them, she found that there was no anger in their eyes, just relief at the small pup's safety. Ruedawn then picked her up and took her pack to camp, and she was sure to keep her flames only warm so as not to hurt him. Infact the warmth helped to dry the beta's coat. As they reached camp everyone seemed to look at her, even a few glares were thrown her way. The pup was then dropped in front of Chif, the healer. While Ice remained by Raid's side.

Phasma had made it back to camp, and Chif's herbs had helped a bit. He knew something was wrong... terribly wrong. Once he made it into camp, he noticed a trail of water leading to the healer's den. He raced over, past Ice and Ruedawn. Raid was just laying there, smaller and more fragile looking than before due to the water. His fur sp.iked with tension. He sat in the back of the den, watching over her protectively. If anyone said anything to her that could upset her again; he would punish them. He didn't exactly know what threatened them, but a pack member was just as important as another.

Raid looked at Ice and said quietly "Your a good mentor Ice, Raid will need that guidence alot I feel. Some may not take this too well, so be sure to keep an open eye on her at all times." He set a paw on Raid and brought his mozel to her ear saying "You here that little one? Stay with your mentor, she'll protect you, and if any of the wolfs give you trouble come find me. I'm the beta of the pack and will be able to silence their mermerings." Rue stood up and looked at Ice again adding "Come find me if anyone gives her trouble, and I'll silence them." He then walked over to Karoshi and sat down next to her to tell her of what happened

Chif returned shortly after Phasma and sniffed Raid before gently touching her nose to her pelt. "Shock...just needs rest." Chiffon very carefully picked up the gray pup and layed her down in her own nest, making sure the flames sprouting from her back didnt burn the grass or bird feathers. "She'll be fine in a while...but I'm going to watch her. I'd like for you all to clear out, as the last thing Raid needs is a bunch of worried wolves around her. Just fix up what she's burned...I've got this under control," Chiffon assured everyone. Shock wasn't something treated by herbs. Rest and regulated heat was the way to go.

Scree slowly got up off the grass, she had seen the smoke. But by the sounds of it, it had been taken care of. She tried to shake off the vision as she entered the camp. looking for the pack she saw many of them in one of the caves sorrounding..was it.. raid? she couldnt tell until she got closer, then, locking eyes with phasma, Scree covered the distance between them and whispered in his ear "whats going on?"

Raid looked up greatfully at Ruedawn and Ice. Her orange eyes wide and innocent. With the slightest wag of her tail she waddled to Ice's feet and curled up there, her tiny flames providing a comforting warmth. She knew she could trust them, and therefore she vowed never to hurt them. So Raid closed her little eyes and fell asleep right there in front off Ice and Ruedawn (^w^ Raid why are you so cute!)

(Lol all three of us commented at the same time. How about Chif had come in the den, just as Raid crawled over to Ice.

Phasma nodded to Chif and reluctantly left the den. Before he was completely out, he turned to Chiffon. "I didn't say this before, but Thank you." Almost as soon as he was out of the den, Scree came rushing up to him. "What's going on?" she whispered. He led her back to the Alpha's den. Once inside, he spoke. "Raid accidently set her nest on fire while she slept... She ran away and thrust herself into the river. Ruedawn and Ice rescued her, and she should be ok." /Expecially as long as I'm around./

(So is Raid in the nest or in front of Ice? Sorries fer misunderstanding)

Karoshi sat still, glaring at afew trees as Ruedawn explained away. She snapped her head to her left, looking at him with surprise, anger, and admiration, but mostly anger. " You LEAPT IN after her?! Do you not know how swiftly those currents flow?! You may have been drowned yourself! " By now Kar was standing up, her fur on edge and her stance wide, looking at him straight in the eye. She was angry with him, but it was also her way of trying to say she was glad he was alright. The beta blushed slightly and sat down. " I apologise. It was courageous of you to do such a thing . . . " After afew moments she stood up once more, determination anda scowl on her face. Karoshi began to walk off, her head low and body tense. " Where are you going? ," Ruedawn called after her. " I'm going to have a word with the Alphas! " Soon, the beta stood infront of the Alpha den, standing strate with her wings tucked neatly next to her body. " Alpha Phasma. Alpha Scree. May I have a word with the two of you? "

Phasma turned to look at Karoshi. "You may. Step inside please." He and Scree made there way to the back of the cave, to allow room for Kar. /This doesn't look good./ Phasma thought, still composing his calm air. Karoshi looked in a rage, though she was trying to speak calmly herself.

Scree paced around the cave, sorting out the news. "So, Raid's alright now though..." Phasms nodded. Scree was muttering aloud "Raid will learn to control the fire, wont she?" her voice was low, she didnt want the pack knowing of her doubt. Somethimg told Scree if they didnt teach Raid to control her fire, it could prove dangerous.

Chiffon gave Luna a nod in approval, proud her apprentice's assumption was right. Chiffon then turned back to Raid and very gingerly placed a forepaw on her head. /Tempurature seems fine.../ she thought, then layed in front of the apprentice wolf. The small canine's flames seemed a bit weak, and Chif felt she should do something to make her feel better. Suddenly, the pink wolf's fur puffed out a bit, and a soft light shone around Raid, which was absorbed into the blue flame, tat now seemed to glow more brightly. Chif had no control over fire itself, but since light and fire went paw-in-paw (hand in hand xP), sharing the sun, they could easily aid eachother.

(I am so very lost with the story. I try to keep up with it, but can't. Could someone please get me caught up.)

As Karoshi entered she immediatly ended her muttering and mumbling, she would have to talk with Phasma later. Scree greeting Karoshi, "what is it you need to discuss?" She walked over to Phasma, staring at Karoshi curiously

" Thank you, Alphas ," Karoshi said as she bowd her head in respect, trying to stay calm. Kar clenched her jaw and walked inside. " I shall be blunt ," the beta began, standing just afew feet from the Alpha pair. " I recommend that Raidiation been pulled out of service as a warrior. " The Alphas opened their mouth as if to say something, but the canine went on. " Radiation nearly burned an entire den to the ground IN HER SLEEP and this blue fire would have surely spread had not I and a number of other good wolves put the flames out. Radiation is only pup, and yet she has this kind of power that she apparently has little control over and none when asleep. If she is able to cause this kind of damage as a sleeping pup, just think of what this apprentice will have the power to do when she an adult on the battle field, and the damage she may cause. But that is not all. Radiation leapt into a river, causing Beta Ruedawn to risk his life in an attempt to rescue her. He nearly drowned himself. " At this point Karoshi's voice was quivering and her claws were starting to dig into the soft earthy ground. " That is why I have recommended she be put out of service. I will NOT see other warriors of wolves of this pack put at risk by a wolfess whom can barely control her own flames! But, the choice if up to you, Alpha Phasma, Alpha Scree. What your orders be I will follow them, even if I do not like what I hear. "

(Like when I go to bed at night, so many comments are on the next morning. And just now, I came back from lunch they were alot more. This morning I was just about caught up. I am sorry.)

(Ok... Well, so far, All of the apprentices have had visions about fire. Raid had a nightmare and set the den on fire, She ran away and jumped into the river, Ice and Ruedawn saved her from drowning. Chif is treating her, and has come to decide Raid is just in shock. Phasma, Scree, and Karoshi are talking about what they will do about Raid.)

Phasma understood what Karoshi was saying. Raid was a danger, but to see her be crushed by not being a warrior would probably drive her to be even more dangerous. /That pain could destroy a forest, seeing as a nightmare burned a den!/ "Scree... this links to what we were discussing previously. I had been thinking about it, and I think that we all should colaborate on training Raid, as well as the other apprentices. Scree, you could teach Raid to control her fire, and I could teach her discipline, as well as Ice and our two betas, You and Ruedawn. Lumina can learn to use water to her best advantage from me as well. Shadow can learn shadows from Karoshi." He looked expectantly at Scree, and Karoshi awaiting their answers. /This is for the best... I swear./

(I would like to know too. Her wolf is my wolf apprentice. I don't even know were to start commenting again. I am so sorry for all of this.)

Scree paused. Deep in thought she swished her tail, her sign of showing she was in deep thought. She looked at Karoshi, then to Phasma, he looked very confident in the plan. "yes. I think we can make that work, though fire isnt something easily contained..but, Raid is strong, she will learn." Scree started pacing again, her claws clicking on cave floor. turning she stared at the beta "karoshi? does that put you in more ease?"

(*shrugs* I don't know... It was just random wolves w/ Karoshi)

Karthania ran into the Medicine den. "Is everyone alright!?" Her eyes were still achy from the light. (Sorry, not sure where they're at, just pretend I said the right place X) )

Karoshi listend intently, analizing Phasma's decision word by word. The wolfess nodded in agreement. " I agree and shall obey ," Kar said and, bowing walked out of the den. The beta sighed, completely exhausted. She sat down in her den, her eyes heavy with sleep. " That pup will certainly be a challenge . . . ," she thought, yawning. The wolfess closed her eyes and fell into a deep, sound sleep, but not before windering when Ruedawn would arrive. ( I'll be gone for afew hours. Have fun! )

(I just noticed that Karthan is always late for things. lol!)

Chiffon turned to Karthania as she heard the worried tone. "Everything is fine. Raid is resting up and activity has died down...though I reccomend you not linger. Raid needs as little activity around her as possible."

(Guys, I have to leave in a few hours and will be gone until saturday :( I am really sorry, we can rp until then, what should we do when I leave though?)

Snow walked out of camp and into the forest. She had worry in her eyes for Raid, not knowing what the future would hold for the pup. Snow realize that she had walked quite a distance into the forest. She came across a little river. Snow barely touched the water and it froze. Snow caught a glimpse of something in the ice. She looked closer. "Is it a vision?" Asked Snow to herself. Snow saw Raid in the far North, were it is snow all year long. Raid was talking to a mysterious wolf. That is were the vision ended. Snow looked up, here sight went blurry and she collapsed.

Scree was about to start up her old conversation as Karoshi left. just as she did through she heard someone sneak off. Scree sighed, she knew who it was by the faint chill the wolf left. Ice. She looked to Phasma, flustered. "Ill be back, we need to sort this out." she sighed again, walking out to follow Ice, she could tell by the cold chill, she wasnt pleased by what she had been eavesdropping on.

( @Passion- Perhaps or I could give basic control of her to someone. But they could not use her as a huge plot point, like no more huge fires unitl I get back lol, but just role play here getting used to being an apprentice I guess)

Karthan trotted out of the den. She stopped and looked back. She never wanted to see a fellow wolf frightened. "I hope she'll find out the meaning of her accident. She's had such a long day." She thought as she walked off into the forest.

(OMG I'M SO SORRY. I'm extremely confused, my internet was down and the gallery from my 3DS is not working!!! I'm really sorry for all of this, all I know is Raid in in seriously trouble and there was a fire and all this stuff! Can someone sum it all up for me? I need to get Lumina lost or something, too, because I'm going to camp tomorrow :T)

"What in the... Oh no!" Karthania yelled. She bolted like a streak of light. "Wake up, little one." She leaned forward and licked Snow's cheek. Then pulled her head away from the water. "Phasma! Come here!" (It was Snow, right? lol I get Ice and Snow mixed up)

Chiffon perked up at her apprentice's voice. "What is it, dear?" She inquired, wondering what was on Luna's mind.

Scree padded up to Ice. noticing an anger in her eyes. "Ice. I think we both know you aren't pleased." Scree replied calmly, with no hint of any particular emotion. "I think you and i need to talk about what has been discussed." She looked up at the wolf, trying to make things right was going to take a bit, but she was positive she would have Ice understand.

Chiffon stiffened. She assumed Raid was dangerous...but considering Luna and possibly other apprentices...Chif knew this was bad. "Luna...go fetch Phasma for me, please," Chiffon ordered, "I cannot leave Raid alone, but I need Phasma."

"What is going on here?" Karth thought. "This has never happened in my memory. Something strange is happening. I guess Phasma and Scree already know this. I will not worry the others." She quietly walked over to where the others were sitting. She could not hide the fear in her eyes.

(see you saturday raven!) Scree sat down with Ice. letting out a small sigh. "Ice." she looked into her eyes. "We do not doubt you, not in the slightest, smallest way. Neither do I doubt Raid. You both are especially exceptional wolves." Scree's voice was calm. She looked around slightly. seeing no one was in ear shot. "The only reason we made that choice, was because we can all see Raid has some...difficulties...with her powers. I do not doubt you are and will be an exceptional teacher to Raid, as well as to everyone. We just believe having some others help along will benefit, you are an ice wolf, she is a fire wolf, we both know how opposite those two are. And ask yourself this. If i didnt believe Raid could learn to harnass her powers, why didnt I agree with Karoshi in the cave and take Raid right out of apprenticeship?" Scree looked at Ice, a glint in her eyes. "just because there are others helping along, doesnt mean you arent her mentor anymore." Scree stood up to go, "We chose you for a reason Ice." As Scree walked back to Phasma she called back, "And i advice for the sake of common curtacy to end the eavesdropping."

Karthan slowly walked over to Chiffon. "I'm afraid you may have to check on Snow. She may have knocked her head while playing. She is lying on the ground. She isn't dead. But I didn't want to move her, in case of any injuries." Karthan stepped back. "In your own time if course. I'll keep an eye on her at all times." She turned 'round, and walked away.

"No, not the North." Groaned Snow faintly still out of it.

"The North?" Karthan looked down at Snow. "What about the north?" She chanted this in her ear 5 times, hoping she might be able to answer.

You wished to speak with me?" He looked at Raid to survey her condition. Phasma could already guess what this conversation was about- Raid.

Ya Mistywolf, those browser messages were kinda important. :T My internet has been really stupid lately, it wouldn't let me con.nect to the gallery from my 3DS. That's why I was 'gone'. Oh yeah btw, I usually role-play in the morning and at night :3 So I'm pretty confused, can someone sum up what I missed? Oh, a quick message, please, look at the browser comments next time... (Raid set fire to her bed, ran away and jumped in a river, Ruedawn/ Ice saved her. Phasma, Karoshi, and Scree have decided that Raid and the other apprentices will recieve special training from them and Rue as well as their mentors.)

Phasma noticed Ice step into the den and settle down. "Um... Maybe we should go somewhere else." He didn't wan't to upset Ice any more by talking about Raid around her. It was the worst of luck Ice had to have eavesdropped. That was clear by the way she reacted to Scree. Still, it was none of her buisness until Phasma had decided to bring it up to her. He sighed as Chif and himself made there way through the forest.

(Wow what happened, can someone bring me up to speed? Sorry was at church, and total got left behind. I only remember just getting Raid back, and Rue was telling Karoshi what had happened. Again sorry just totally lost)

Snow did not respond at first. She just laid there on the ground and cringed still out of it. The snowflake pattern on her back began to glow a faint blue. Then all of a sudden Snow jumped up fully awake. Her eyes looking completely dark blue, then returning back to normal. "I... what?" Snow said.

"Alright..." Chiffon nodded to Phasma, "Luna, you stay here," she ordered the apprentice before Chif and Phasma went off. Chiffon picked a rather secluded area under a willow tree for them to talk. The questioning look on Phasma's face told her it was time to speak up. "Phasma...what are we going to do about Raid? The apprentices are having visions...even I can sense there's something scary about her abilities," Chiffon sighed. She was very ready to gather moss and cold water for burns.

(WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH Okay guys, seriously, Imma go cry in my corner now XD My internet is being an a-hole. I lost my whole post, probably my longest, cuz it wouldn't freaking LOAD. So basically, Lumina eavesdropped on the beginning of the conversation. She feels totally unimportant and kind of jealous of Raid cuz she has all that power, so she's becoming really sad. Now, again, sorry for the browser, but my stupid internet is a stupid dumbo right now.)

"Are you alright?" Karthan asked frightened Snow. "You we're talking about the North in your faintness."

As Scree came back, Phasma, Chif, snow, and few others were gone. Scree sighed, walking down, over to a small river, not far from the pack, she law down, trying to figure things out. The grass blew over her paws in the wind, the sun beat down. Scree's eyes glazed over, it felt like something was in her head.
Without thinking, she used her fire powers, heat surged through her claws and flames began to singe the grass, she began carving her claws deep into the dirt, etching swirls that turned at sharp angles and spread at odd points. Once she finally took her claw out of the dirt a strange design had been burnt into the ground, it ran all around her. Scree looked at it shocked, this wasnt something familiar to her, but it wasnt a random scribble either. ir reminded her of something though...
shaking her head trying to loose the thoughts, she dove into the river (its a slow current) and swam around for a while trying to forget what had happened.

"I...I think i am" Snow replied, sounding alittle weak. "I...I need to find our two leaders, and talk to them." Snow started to walk off then turned back around. "Thank you so much for being concerned about me. I will returned the favor." With that Snow ran off into the forest at full speed.

(Never mind went online and read up) Rue was startled by Karoshis' sudden out burst. When did she care all ah sudden? Karoshis' outburst then turned gental loving and Rue relaxed a bit, but then she started runing off! "Were are you going!?!" he yelled at her and she answered "To talk to the Aphas!" Rue co.cked his head in confusion, but he wouldn't cut in, he was much, much too tired for that. Rue yawned a great big yawn and stood up shakally. He walked over to Raid and nosled him and said "Remember they're only dreams, dream up sweet ones." He then went to leave when Ice came in she looked mad! Then Scree came in and started talking to her. Rue stayed out of sight and listened in. His eyes widened when he heard the part about Kar. She had wanted to derank Raid, the pack would never look at her the same if they did that, but then he thought for a minute before rushing to concusions and realized that Kar only ment well, just not in the right way in his opinon and it seems others too. Rue snuck out and headed for his den he stopped when he saw Kar in it. He wondered what he should do, he didn't like the idea if sleeping next to a wolf he hardly knew... but she was his soon to be mate, and... Oh it's too late at night to be thinking of these things, he groaned inside! He did know Kar now alittle better then he did before, and she did seem to care for him... a bit at least... but Rue still didn't know this she wolf, and he still wasn't sure about the matage... Rue left the den and headed for the Aphas' den, he needed advise, Big Time and (crap forgot his name but Dreams character starts with a P I know but that's as far as I remember) P was a good friend of his, he could help. Rue stood outside the den and called in "P can we uh talk, can we talk for a minute I mean?..." Rue now stood hesitantly outside the cave enterence not sure now if he should be there. P was after all the one who set up their matage, what if he didn't understand...

Lumina sighed. /So Raid is going to get VIP training from the Alphas, while I, the absolutely unimportant twirp, gets to hang around doing nothing except watch my friend make her own flaming pathway to glory. Aw, this is just GREAT./ (She's not being an a-hole lol she's just really sad and jealous) Just as she was about to burst in rage, Lumina decided to walk over to Scree who was taking a dip in the river. "Well, well! So you guys are taking my friend into special training?" the lunar wolf yelped with misty eyes. "Fine! Then count! Me! Out!" she finished, tears rolling down her face. Before waiting for an answer, Lumina used her mind power to make a wave of river water crash in the middle of the camp. Then, she took off in the forest, angered and crying. Why did no-one seem to care about her? She had nothing against Raid. But this whole Raid-this, Raid-that made her very depressed. Perhaps she was just too lame for the pack.

After a long while of waiting Rue then noticed that Phasam (I think that's right) wasn't even there! Rue groaned and put his head down and his paws over his head! "What am I going to do?" He stood up a paised around abit then he just couldn't take it any longer he ran off into to woods to get some fresh air! I just need to take a breather he told himself, then I'll come back and... and what, go back to the den? Kar is in there and you don't want to offend he by sleeping on the other side, but you can't be next to her, you barely know her! Ruen was in the forest know approaching the river. He sat on a rock and just gazed into the water. "What am I going to do?!?" He groaned out loud to himself, then splashed at the water distorting his reflection!

"Scree and I decided each apprentice will recieve special training... I know it will be harsh, but if it is to protect the pack, it must be done. It seems that any three of them could be a threat." He looked up at Chif when suddenly he heard a sudden roar that dissappated just as fast as it had come. He twitched his ear and headed back to camp, Chif treading behind. When they reached the camp, it was wet, the dens were no doubt to soaking to sleep in. His eyes grew angry and he knew exactly who was responsible! Lumina, the only other water wolf besides himself. He followed her scent to the outside of camp. Once he found her, he towered abover her, his fur spi.ked angrily. "What in the living he.ll where you thinking Lumina!?" He snarled each word. She had added the straw that broke the camel's back.

Chiffon sighed. She could hear Phasma's agitated barks with her enhanced listening skills. "Dumb rat brains...this pack is going to tear itself apart from within." She snarled to herself, slunking back to her den. Chiffon plopped down on the ground and sighed. "Luna dear...what would you like to do?" Chiffon turned to her apprentice and smiled. She didn't want the poor canine exposed to all the hate and harsh feelings flowing through the camp. "Would you like...me to take you for a bit of a stroll...?"

Lumina was scratching at the ground in irritation when suddenly the moonlight got hidden by a shadow. As she turned to face who was behind her, part of the apprentice felt like shrinking away in intimidation and part of her wanted to roar in madness. "What in the living h.ell were you thinking?" the Alpha snarled.
All the anger in Lumina came out. "Well, I figured, since you probably don't even care about me at all, that I could perhaps show MY power as well! Too bad I didn't do it in my sleep like my friend did, hm?" the she-wolf barked, panting in irritation. But then sadness covered the anger and more tears streamed down Lumina's cheeks. "I know it was stupid of me to do that. I should've controlled my anger and not let it go to my mind power. But still, don't you guys care? I was listening when you talked, you said you'd give Raid some special training, but you said nothing about me, or Shadow!" (She didn't eavesdrop until the part where all apprentices get special treatment, that's why :3)

(I figuired :3 lol) Phasma was frustrated but at the same time felt slightly bad for her. He knew how it felt to be 'second best'. He calmed his tone down to a frustrated growl, "You eavesdropped? You shouldn't have done that and we wouldn't be going through this right now. Had actually listened, you would have known that you too were getting extra training from myself!" He sighed, and continued more calmly. "You are just as special as Raid. Believe me." He sat down next to her and wrapped his tail around her. "How would you like to lead the howl tonight after the two of us clean up camp?" It was a small honor... but it might cheer her up a little.

Snow had been running through the forest. When she came across the two of Lumina and the alpha. she skidded to a stop. Snow looked at Lumina and sense something wrong with her. "Lumina are you ok?" Snow said walking up to the two.

"From.. you...?" Lumina repeated. "That's--Awesome! Maybe I'll learn how to... well... control my emotions a little more, that way I don't flood camp again." the apprentice smiled. But Phasma continued, offering her to lead the howl that night. Lumina gasped. "B-but... only Alphas are supposed to lead the howl! Are you... sure I should?" the she-wolf looked up at Phasma. A nod followed her question. "You're awesome." Lumina said, looking into the Alpha's eyes. "On a side note... when does new training start?"

Suddenly her mentor came rushing torwards her. "Well Snow, I just got the best news ever! I'll be getting special training AND I get to lead the howl tonight!" the apprentice barked, with a huge grin on her face. "So yeah, I'm okay. Should we head back to camp and... um... clean my mess up?"

Phasma smiled, "Tomorrow, bright and early. You have to train with Snow first, and then we get to. But first... We have to clean up the water mess." With that, he got up and began to shift the water from the ground into the air, and then into the river.

Lumina smiled. "So... am I doing this right?" the apprentice asked, carefully extracting the water from the ground and the dens, filtering it in midair and placing it back in the riverbed. The process was going smoothly. "Snow, can you freeze the water droplets in the grass? They'll be much easier to shift that way!" the lunar she-wolf suggested.

"Lumina, clean up what mess? ask Snow, with a wierd look in her eyes. "What did you do?" growl Snow. Then Snow looked at the alpha. "I need to talk to you some time, it is important." Snow said as the three of them started back to camp.

(My last comment came in at the wrong time.)

(Just pretend Lumina was like, "Oh ummmm you'll see..." and then Snow was like "Omg what is this!!!")

"Sure i can." replied Snow. She took a few steps back. The snowflake on her back started to glow. All of a sudden all the grass became as stiff as upside-down icicles. "Is that ok?" she asked.

(I have to stop for the day. My eyes are starting to cross. I will pick back up tommorow.)

As Scree heard angry barks she shot out of the river and as she went back to the camp, saw water everywhere. She let out an exasperated sigh. "this is goingbto take forever to clean (xD Scree get back in kitchen! xD) She saw phasma and lumina walking back, she could tell who the culprit was. she didnt want to go talk to her though, Phasma seemed to have already done that. Scree stared up at the sky, using her light form.
particle wings grew and spread upon her back, they stretched out and small waves of light flickered about, they started to dry the caves. Scree had her eyes closed calmy, her body seemed much larger when she used these powers, but it drained her. Still, she sat there, slowly evaporating the flood of water.

(Lol Snowwolf okay XD PROBLEM: I'll be gone for two weeks starting tomorrow... Dream, wanna OCsit Lumi for me?)

When Rue was finished contemplateing he walked back home to see that everything was wet! He looked at Phasam and said "I'm not even going to ask." He shook his head and walked past him heading for his den, were he ignore kar and laid down on a opposite cornor of the cave/or what ever it is and fell asleep.

(everyones leaving :0 even im leaving in a week :o)

In a few minutes, the trio was almost done draining the water. "It's almost time for the howl, Alpha!" Lumina barked with exitement.

(thats all i have to look forward to this summer unless you count, staying in the hospital while my sister gets surgery or getting verbally abused by my grandparents. i have no friends ;A; go life *fist bump*

(Verbally abused...? O.O)

(Joy... *fist bump* Life...) "I think it's dry enough. And your right, it's time!" He smiled at Scree humorously before leaping onto the silver rock. After Lumina started, he would follow.

( Bad news, the new med I'm trying makes me dizzy and stopped my sweating, which leads to fever. :( Looks like this one doesn't work.)

Lumina followed Phasma and she, too, leaped on the rock. "So, do I start it just like that?" the apprentice whispered to the Alpha. She has never climbed on the siver rock before, it was so... dramatic.

(yah. zero lifers unite <:P and aw seriously? thats awful -o-) Scree snapped out of her light form, and watched as Lumina leapt onto the silver rock aside Phasma. She padded over to thrm, nodded to her mate and awaited the beginning of the call

Phasma nodded to Lumina then whispered. "It is the purest form of soul solidification. You'll do fine, it's a natural gift." He took a breath in preperation for his turn.

Chiffon rallied Luna and the twosome went to the camp center to prepare for the evening howl. Tonight was a special night in which Lumina would begin the song. This was an immensly rare occasion, as the alpha was always suppose to begin the howl. Chiffon drew in her breath, ready to sing.

Lumina couldn't keep the pack waiting forever. She took a deep breath, and let it all out.(Lol I can picture her going "I wanna scream! And shout! And let it all out!" XD) The she-wolf's vocal cords rumbled, making a surprisingly low-pitched howl. The call was soon amplified by the rest of the pack, making a deep, strong call.

(We need to make that a #celestpackspoof XD) Phasma joined in the howl, melding his deep howl with Lumina's and the pack's. It was like a haunting song, filled with mixtures of highs and lows.

Lumina felt a wave of warmth filling her. It felt so good, sitting next to the Alpha and howling at the top of the pack like that. But after what seemed like just a second only, Lumina had to shut her mouth. One by one, the wolves stopped howling and scattered, all getting ready for a good night's sleep. (That includes me X3)

Scree joined in the beautifully dark song. her voice joining in, everyone had their own song to sing, and that what they were doing. but the wolves could make it a harmony of beautiful melodies, welded together. She sang her song as she did every night, remember her old pack hunter, brutally mur,deredbecause of her. Scree howled louder, he vocal cords hitting all the right notes to blend with the others. Hamony. thats sll she felt.

As the wolves dispersed, Chiffon returned to her den and noticed Raid was still recooperating. Chiffon gently nudged her aside and laid down beside her, as she fell into a light sleep as she does routinely.

(She basically woke up, and found Phasma. They are going to talk soon. Lumina flooded camp because she was upset, but Phasma, Lumi, and Scree fixed it. Lumina got to lead the evening howl)

Karthan was sitting outside. Her sleepiness had left her. She was going over the events of the day. "I bet it's just a large puzzle. All we need to do is fit them together." She sighed, for she had no idea how to do that. After all, she was only a warrior. "I will talk to Phasma in the morning. For now, I need to get some sleep."

Karoshi had been do exhausted that she had slept through the enrire water incident. She was awakend by the evening howl, though. The wolfess yawned as her neon-purple eyes fluttered open. She layd down quietly, listening to the howls. The she wolf too joined in, her howling voice filled with over tones ( I'm not sure if that makes sence. If you've ever listend to the song G6, the women's voice has overtones in it ). It was an almost alien sound, but sweet to listen to. Kar noticed that the lead howler was not Phasma or Scree, but Luna's. The canine frownd, but howled on. She would find out the reason for this later. It was only after the evening howl that Karoshi noticed Ruedawn, sound asleep in a corner. The wolfess stood up slowly and carefuly walked over to him. The beta tapped a paw on the ground, nervous. " Ttt! ," she thought dryly. " Nervous of what?! I am a beta! I was a general in a nuclear world war! If i can handle blood and gor'e in battle then I can handle this! " Her nervousness still remains, but she ignored it. The canine laid down quietly beside Ruedawn, blushing slightly. She laid a paw on one of his. The beta lade her head on the ground . . . happy. That was strange. Very strange. Karoshi closed her eyes, thinking over everything that she would haveto do. Kar gritted her teeth. Great! She would haveto to train a pup with uncontrolable fire powrrs and another wolf she knew nothing of! " Its was the Alpha's decision ," she remided herself. " Orders are orders! " The wolfess opened an eye, looking at Ruedawn. The she wolf sighed. " I do not know why ," she said, listening to the sleeping wolf's heavy breathing. " but I love you, just as I did Ki'lljoy. It simply does not make sence to me. I hated you at first, but then I started to know you better, and the more I knew of you, the more attached I became. Now look at me. It is quite ironic, is it not? I, someone of an entirely different history and personality, can love a wolf as caring and gentle as-

" thee. Life is so . . . strange . . . that way. " Karoshi chuckled at herself. " Ha ha ha! Listen to me lay all of my thoughts out before you, and you are asleep, Rue. " Kar smirked and closed her eyes, just happy to be with the wolf.

The howl had ended. Scree stayed up as the alpha was supposed to, despite her drowzyness. Scree wandered about, she walked up to Phasma, nuzzling him affectionatly. she smiled. This was one thing that would never chsnge, her feelings.

Rues' ear twitched as a fly flew onto it, but it didn't fly off. Rue went to shoo it off with his paw, but something was on it? He opened his eyes to see what it was, and to his surprise he found that a paw was laying on. He then turned to see who it belonged too, even though he already knew who it belonged too. This was the beta den after all, only betas' lived in these quarters, but yet Rue still had trouble believeing she would come be next to him. But he saw that it was indead her... He flicked his tail asking himself, why would she wanna be with him? Rue wasn't saying he didn't injoy her compainy it was just... odd, that's all... just an odd feeling... Rue raised his head and yawned deeply then he rested it back down onto her paw that was resting on his, and fell back to sleep.

Karoshi's eyes opend slowly it was the dead of night. The entire pack was iether asleep, or quietly watching the stars as their're minds wandered. She looked over at Ruedawn. The wolfess was surprised to see his head on her paw, but also delighted. Kar pressed stood up gingerly, taking great care not to wake the wolf. She padded quietly out of the cave, shuffling her thin leathery wings. The black she wolf shot into the air, making her nightly rounds. Karoshi glided above the woods and pack border, scanning every inch of the land below for anything unusual. Kar flapped her wings in antic'ipation, hoping to find a heard of deer or perhaps even a loner. Anything that would grab her interest. Something did. The beta, using her built in night-vision, saw an abnormaly bright spot under the thick forest canopy, fluxuating in size slightly. Karoshi instantly sky dived toward the odd sight. Kar pulled up afew yards above the forest and glided silently downwards until she dropped through a hole in the trees. She landed with a thud onto the cool grassy floor and turned her dark mass toward the pec'u'liar thing. " What on earth . . . ? ," Kar exclaimed. ( to be continued )

A blood-red flame three feet high hovered above the ground, flickering and sput'tering. The beta stolcked slowly towards it, snarling and raising her wings slightly. " What ever this flame be ," she said to herself, fur on end, " I shant let it burn on! " She had only gone afew feet when the flame began . . . changing. The she wolf halted and growled, widening her stance. The fire morphed into a cru'de, firey form; that of a wolf. It was a simple replica. Four legged, a long, swaying tail, claws, long pointed ears, two hard, solid eyes, and a snout. All of the finer details were left out. Karoshi glared at the thing, completely sus'pic'ios of its intentions, and the creature stared at her, its flaming eyes solid and dead. " What buisness do you have here, creature?! ," Karoshi spat. The being stared on, tilting its head to one side as she spoke. " From what pack or land does thee hale from?! . . . Are you some strange new form of wolf, or a ghost?! . . . Are you the one that has been causing the flaming visions among mine pack?! . . . Well?! . . . Speak, deamon, or can you not even do that?! " The creature just looked at her. Then its mouth opened wide, the sides jagged and uneven. The beta dug her claws into the earth as she realized that it was grinning an wicked, open-mouthed grin at her. ( to be continued )

The being then flared out, its form flattening and spreading in all directions for fifteen feet. The entire surrounding forest floor was set alight with blood-red flames. Karoshi snarled and leapt into the air, preparing to flap her wings and make her escape. In an instant the canopy was also a firey mess. Kar dropped to the ground, panting from the estreme h'eat. Sparks flew up from the burning grass. Flaming trees were falling all around the beta. The wolfess turned from side to side, snapping her head this was and that, trying to find a clear path through the all-consuming flames. But no. There was no way out this time. The she wolf started to cough and hack, smoke filling the air around her and her lungs. She fell onto her side, chocking. " I am so sorry, Ruedawn ," Kar thought as her vision blurred and the flames moved steadily toward her. " I would have been honored to be your mate. " At this, she blacked out.

Visions of the burning dead and guilt burned in Fawn's mind. Old wolves she once knew ran before her, consumed by flames that matched the surrounding forest. Her heart raced and her body trembled as the inferno continued in front of her. Fawn fought the urge to bolt,"I was foolish and young when I did that last," She recalled, attempting to steady herself," I will not abandon my pack members like I did last. I will not allow them to be kil.led by my inability." She focused in on the smoke, unbearable heat washing her face. Nothing was visible and only the anguished cries of the dy.ing could be heard. Fawn's heart sputtered and she shook as the heat engulfed her. Fear returned and cho.ked her lungs, forcing out any breath they once held.
With a start, she awoke. The night was silent, and most must have been asleep. Regardless, Fawn felt startled by her dream. Her body refused to stop trembling, and her heart pounded. "A little movement should help calm me down," She thought, desperate to calm the anxiety. She stepped off her bed and exited the den into the warm night. The trees rustled quietly as the wind blew against her face. She inhaled deeply and her pounding heart stopped. That scent floated in the air. THAT smell, her back legs gave out and she attempted to smell it again. Another whiff confirmed it, the distinct smell of smoke. Her throat tightened, as her head snapped up to the sky. Thick smoke rolled over the skyline of trees. She had to tell someone, part of her wished to just yell it out and awaken everyone, but she knew panic would set in and cause only more problems. She ran over to the entrance of Alpha Phasma's den. She hesitated at the doorway, but pressed foreward. She placed a paw on his shoulder and gently shook him, "I think a fire has broken out in the forest," she whispered.

Rues' head was left unbalanced when Kar left, and when (so sorry forgot her name) started yelling out Phasms I think there's a fire! (or somthing like that) his head rolled over! Rue woke with a start turning this way and that! "Uh! Wha? Kar? Kar!" He started panicing, what if she went on one of her nightly excursions! He ran out towards the she wolf at the Aphas den entrence and asked "Where's the fir-" Rue caute a wift of the smoke and knew instantly were it was! He pointed his noise towards the air and inhailed trying to pick up Kars' sent, but no such luck... he then turned to the shewolf and ordered "Wake the water wolfs, we need to put this OUT!" He then turned to the Apha den entrence and didn't hesitait to go in! He was a beta, and a beta could do that with out fear, espassaly when he had a emergentsy! "Aphas! Wait up! We have another fire, this time in the forest! Quick Aphas wake up! Phasma! Scree!"

Scree had been sitting in her den when the wolves came running in. The sight of their stricken faces had her immediatly worried. Fire. Scree wouldnt be able to help much with this. she turned to Fawn, "Fawn, go get Ice. Rue, find snow. Wolves of sun wont be of any use." She turned to Phasma, awake as well. Then took off, She headed to Chif's den, arrousing him, "Chif, I need you to look over the pack, a fire brewing and a wolf is missing, we may need some salves made for burns as well." Without a seconds time. she ran off the join the gathering wolf, she was fire, but she would find a way to be useful.

"I will help put it out" Karthan yelled as she came running from her den. "Just tell me what to do!" She ran towards Phasma fast as she could. Her eyes were glowing yellow from the flames.

Karth ran toward the flames. She quickly did a strange dance. It was mysterious, yet charming. As she danced water came flying over and circled around her. "Where is Kar?" She asked.

(Well, Karoshi descovered a fire wolf in the forest, but she's trapped by the flames. The Moon chars have to use their water powers to put it out)

Snow was still asleep in her den when a many barks woke her up. "What is going on?" Snow ask herself. She stood up and stretched. "What is going on?" Snow ask the nearest wolf. Snow tilted at a strange smell in the air. She narrowed her eyes. "Is that smoke?" She thought to herself. Snow only smelled it twice before, do to the fact that she came from the arctic.

(Guys, Passion has posted a new pic for rping) Phasma jolted awake and looked around wildly. "Ruedawn, Fawn, where is this fire? Bring me to it!" Before they could answer, he ran to where Lumina layed. "It's time to use your powers!" She looked up at him confused, but followed anyways. Following Rue and the scent of smoke, they reached the flames quickly. Phasma lifted a large, crystal clear ball of water, and thrust it upon the fire. It exploded and like a wave, rushed over the flames. Most of them were now gone. Lumina, in the mean time, slashed at the flames with a water whip. "Lumina, Ice. Keep doing what your doing!"

"Yes," Fawn replied as she began following the scent of heavy smoke. She ran into the forest and they quickly reached the source," Oh no," she gasped as she say Ice passed out on the ground, the flames almost surrounding her. Fawn bolted towards her and grabbed her scruff like she would a pup. She pulled far enough so she would be out of immeadiate danger.

Scree rushed past the wolves, into the fire, the good thing about light was she wasnt as effected to burns, though her fur still burned it wasnt as bad as it could have been. She had heard someone asking where Karoshi was and somehow knew she was caught in the fire. rushing over burning trees she tried finding the beta. Falling branches and trees thudding around her but she kept running, Scree was an alpha, she had to protect her pacl even if it put her life in danger. A log uprooted and fell almost crushing her, she kept running, searching everywhere for the wolf "KAR!" she coughed in the smokey haze "Kar! WHERE ARE YOU"

( So de we rp on passions pic? ) Karoshi moaned, coughing raggedly. Ruby flames danced and jupmed all around her, singing the canine's fure. The beta's vision was blurry at best. Her ears rung, blurring out almost sound except for the faint trace of voices. She clenched her teeth, making a supreme to stand, but failed. Her sooty form fell back on the charred grass. Kar panted, being cooked alive. The she wolf howled, calling to whomever may hear her, barely concious. Karoshi smacked her paw against the earth, sending a path of shadow spi'king up through the earth for about nine feet, trting to stay awake. Kar coughed again, her lungs burning.

Scree heard a raiged howl cut through the smoke. Her head snapped to the direction of it knowing it was Karoshi. She rushed to find her, but the forest was getting confusing, trees were falling everywhere. She lept over one and landed in a small ditch, the fire was hot there, it burned off her paw pads. she grimaced but kept going. Finslly she saw a path made of shadows. "KAR!!"she yelked agsin, following the path. Finally, she found the beta. she looked as close to death as any wolf could. She ran up to her looked at her "Kar!! are you there??" the wolf twitched a bit. Scree pushed her head under the wolf's back, sliding her onto Scree's back. The wolf was heavu, but she had to go. She started running. Letting a howl rio through the night telling the wolves she had found Karoshi.
