It was the day of the local school's field trip to the Krystal Refinery. SideSlash was excited to see his father, but a voice in his head kept whispering to him.
"Your father hates you. If you were stronger, he would love and respect you."
Following the voice's orders, SideSlash strayed away from the group and found a strange mechanism. He absorbed all of the energy from it. Just as he was about to return to the group, an alarm began to ring.
