Because the common gender for Snivy in the pokemon games is female (atleast for me)
Anyway... I don't feel very proud of this pic. It doesn't really give me a certain appeal to it that much. (Coloring sees a bit bland and Oshawott looks fat and I'm bad at drawing Snivy so there ya go! :P

That's if they are compatable for each other for pokemon breeding. (Maybe depens on egg groups)... Snivy is a female (of course) and Oshawott is a dude.
