Aw great, I may never be able to use Colors again, and I leave with the stupid captin kitty thing going on -_-
My new SD card just deleted all my paintings on Colors and now I'm unable to make extra data on it. So when I go on Colors, it brings me to an error screen saying "Could not create extra data." and my only option is to go back to the home menu. And if it's the 3ds's problem all along, I may have to say goodbye because I can't afford another one for a long time. :oC

^That's exactly what I did, this SD card is also acting dumb. So I'm pretty sure that no matter how many SD cards I try, the problem lies in my 3ds. :o/

xDDD hey, this is possible!! once, I asked Nintedo to watch colors (because some people and me didn't wanted the wii channels to shut down) so maybe when they watched it, they watched all the pics in the gallery and then, they saw all the cats!xDDD

Well, Nintendo usually repairs things you send to them. I don't know how much that'll cost though but sure less than a new 3ds.
Also, is it just Colors acting up wierd or all of your software?
Have you tried deleting and re-installing it then? You could try to not copy it from your SD card in the first place or format it from your 3ds entirely (especially if it's stored in your 3ds itself, not SD card)

I'll try that, and yeah, it's not just Colors. Occasionally all my swapnotes get deleted as well. I think there's some weird problem with the extra-data storage. :o/
And I should probably try the re-downloading thing right now, I haven't tried that yet.

Have you tried deleting your additional data for Colors then? (If it´s even there of course)

^ It strangly won't let me. When I deleted Colors to redownload it, the extra data was still there and couldn't be deleted. After redownloading it, the problem continued. So I've got an un-deletable chunk of extra data that blocks off any form of usage to the app.

Hmmm, I wonder if that chunk is still there if you put an entirely blank SD-card into your 3ds...
C!3D should still be downloadable for free, the eshop goes after System-IDs I think.

I've been reading from other people's problems, and I think I know my problem now: The SD card is too big. It's 16GB, and anything larger than 4GB is unusable unless you "format it as FAT32". Now I just have to look up formatting.
