From the 12th to the the 13th century, immediately following The Bronze Age, ponykind has discovered iron. We then proceeded to improve on the trade, Metal Smithing. Blacksmiths, making swords, shields, armor, mining axes and much more, literally banged and pounded our way into the Next Century!
