Yay! Okay, I'll start I suppose...
Stardust shut the thick volume's back cover with a gentle hoof, yawning contently as she reached for the next edition. Around her there were oak bookshelves, sagging under the weight of the knowledge stored inside the books that were housed there. The smell of age and lilacs permeated the air and pages fluttered as an open window blew in soft spring breezes. The starry pegasus sighed contentedly as the occasional owl or other bird flew overhead to collect a volume from the higher shelves. (sorry it's boring! ^^')

Timeshift slowly walks down one of the many aisles of books. This area of the archives was dimly lit, so lighting from his horn was necessary. His eyes skimmed over the book titles, with no luck.

Sighing quietly, he makes his way to the brighter areas of the archives. The glow from his horn dissapates, and he blinks a few times to adjust his eyes to the lighter area. (??)

Timeshifts ears perk, his head turning to vineheart. He glances around, but nopony besides him and stardust were there for her to ask. "Oh- I'm Timeshift." He says, looking at vineheart.

(Sure, basch!)

(Sorry, my wi-fi went sp.a.zzy.) Stardust smiled at Vineheart and the stallion, who introduced himself as Timeshift. The starry pegasus was here everyday, and because of this was often asked for book recomendations or finding a specific novel when the other library-ponies were busy. "Of course, Vineheart! I'm assuming you want a book about something you enjoy? Maybe you would like to try 'The History of The Creatures of Equestria and Beyond'?" As she spoke, she began trotting down the aisle, motioning for the mare and stallion to folllow. The trio soon came to a smaller shelf than the others, and Stardust only had to flap her wings twice to reach the top shelf. She gently grabbed the volume in her teeth and she floated back down to the ground, holding the book out to the nature-loving alicorn. "Here! Hope you enjoy!" She then turned to Timeshift with a soft smile. "Anything I can help you with?"

Timeshift watches her, then responds. "Well, it's my first time to canterlot. I kinda wanted to learn some of its history. But I couldn't seem to find anything."

Stardust smiled at Timeshift, nodding. "Yes, they are in a strange place. They actually reside in the center of the archives. Follow me."

Timeshift nods, slowly following. "Thanks." He says, looking around. It really was beautiful in here. And blissfully quiet as well.

While following stardust, Timeshifts ears twitched. He looks around, trying to step lightly as to hear it. After a little bit, he makes out that it is singing. ".....?"

(I suppose evening/ night is fine! As long as everyone is fine with that! uwu)

Stardust nodded towards the stallion and began walking down the darker library aisles and almost tripped over a sleeping filly on the ground. (Lexiejoy)

Timeshift stops as Stardust almost trips. "Wait a second..Do you hear that?" He asks, looking around with his ears perked. "That...Singing?"

Timeshift turns his head towards where the music eminated from. His eye brows furrowed, confused.

(Btw, thank you all for coming! I've never been able to rp a pony before so this is fun. ^-^)

Timeshift trots slowly towards the sound of the singing, his curiousity getting the best of him. His hooves click softly on the wood as he makes his way to it.

Timeshift trots around the corner to the theater just as OG falls. He narrows his eyes to see all the way to the huge stage.

(Brb for a few minutes! I need to take care of some of my pets. ^-^!)

Timeshift walks in the huge theater, at the very back row where the doors let in. he trots down the aisle, closer to the stage.

Timeshift freezes when he hears the voice. He looks around, then to the stage. He could see OperaGhost and LexieJoy now.

(Ok! Cya Lexie!)

Timeshift slowly approaches the stage, light on his hooves.

Timeshift looks over the stage, and the pony on it. Since it was his first time to canterlot, he didn't know anypony.

Timeshift watches, shivering as a cold breeze swept by, almost on cue. He fluffs his wings, narrowing his eyes a bit. But he says nothing.

Timeshift flaps his wings a few times, landing on the stage clumsily. After regaining his balance he looks for the strange stallion. But all he sees is a rose.

Timeshift looks to lexie, confused. He then remembers her from earlier. "Oh, uh, hey there." He says, looking around again.

Timeshift stares into the darkness where OG disappeared. He glances at lexie.

Timeshift nods at her explanation. "Do you live here? In canterlot, I mean" He asks.

Timeshift flinches and stiffens at the booming voice, his feathers fluffing. He glances around, ears twitching.

"Yeah..." Timeshift replies quietly, eyes narrow as he scans the area for the mysterious pony.

Timeshift immediately turns to the sound of crying. The tip of his horn lights up an emerald green, like his eyes. It brightens the area, the shadows moving back.

(Like when you mix all the play dough together omg.)

Timeshift watches, eye brows furrowed. He glances at lexie, then begins approaching it.

Timeshift nods, Trotting in the path the pony left. He looks back at lexie, slowing. "Do you want to come?"

taking that as a yes, he continued. Their magic illuminates the dark (hallway?)

Timeshift keeps his ears facing forwards. He saw the glow now.

(I don't mind at all! If you have an idea, I say go for it! ^-^!)

Timeshift shifts his gate to a slow trot, the purple glow getting closer.

(Gallops away from them? sorry just verifying))

Timeshift quickens his pace. He wouldn't normally do this- But for some reason he needed to find out who this pony was.

(Welcome back!) Timeshift shakes his head. "I'm not sure."

Timeshift flinches away from the illusion in surprise, nearly hitting lexie. He looks back ahead, making his light brighter.

Timeshift looks at lexie, slowing. "Let's stop, then." he says, concerned.

Timeshift looks up, startled. He moves infront of lexie, his horn glowing brightly.

Timeshift stands still, staring at OperaGhost with wide eyes, surprised at the sudden stop. "......."

Timeshift glances back at lexie, then takes a few steps away from OG, to better see him.

Timeshift stays silent, watching.

Timeshift thinks a moment, then speaks. "What's your name?"

Timeshift nods a bit. "I'm Timeshift." He replies.

Timeshift stays where he is, glancing down at his hooves.

Timeshift looks for a way out of the hallway.

Timeshift looks up, following a little ways back. He looks over the walls as they pass.

Timeshift thinks, watching the floor as he walked.

Timeshift uses his magic to hold it, watching OG, unsure.

Timeshift studies it. "I'm not really sure..." He teleports it to where he's been staying for his visit. "We should go outside." He suggests, uncomfortable in the dark archives now.

Timeshift does the same, appearing beside her in a poof of green smoke. He blinks a few times. "wooah, it's bright outside." He says in surprise, squinting.

timeshift follows her, looking around. "Where is this?" He asks, looking to her.

Timeshift trots up beside here, admiring the scenery. "Its beautiful.." He says, smiling slightly.

He stretches his wings, studying the statues. He looks to lexie. "I heard there was a town nearby, too. Just down the mountain?" He asks, unsure if he was correct.

"Really? You think you could show me around ponyville?" Timeshift asks, turning to her with an anxious smile.

Timeshift does the same quickly after her, so they would be at the same place. When they appear he speaks." You said both your parents are earth ponies? Well, my mom was a unicorn, and my dad was a pegasus. They told me they were surprised I was an..well, an alicorn." He shrugs a bit, looking around.

Timeshift nods. "oh, okay." He follows her. " Most ponies find it a bit weird...Its certainley harder to fit in as an alicorn. But thanks." He says to her with a small smile, but he watches the ground.

*Time shift is suddenly knocked to the ground. looking up, he sees a grey unicorn wearing a brown hoodie, scrambling to pick up the piles of paper she dropped on the collision*
Grace: Oh my gosh, Im so sorry. I didnt see you there. *flustered*

Timeshift shakes his head, surprised. He stands up, repositioning his wings. He looks at the grey mare, confused.

Grace- *mumbles under breath* Oh, my names Grace. *stands up clutching papers* Again im so... sorry.. *staring at Time shift*

Timeshift blinks. "It's okay. Are you alright?" he says to grace finally, glancing at lexie.

Grace- Nice too meet you too... um, I didnt catch your names. *not taking eyes off Timeshift*

Timeshift shifts his weight from hoof to hoof a few times, feeling awkward. "I'm Timeshift." He replies.

*Grace realizes shes been staring and quickly looks down, shuffeling her papers, suddenly akward* Well.. it was n-nice meeting you two... *Suddenly, Timeshift catches something out of the corner of his eye. A small movement under Grace's hoodie..*

Timeshifts eyebrows furrow, and he stares where he saw the movement. "um..." He looks grace in the eye for a second, before quickly averting his gaze.

*Grace realizes that TimeShift knows, and making a split-second desicion, blurts out-* Grace- W-Where ya guys headed too?

"We were going to take a walk through ponyville...I've never been here, so lexiejoy was going to show me around." Timeshift explains.

Grace- Well that sounds like fun! I know this is kinda.. out of the blue, but could I maybe.. tag along? Im.. new here too.

Timeshift shrugs. "I don't see why not . I mean- If lexie's up to it." He says with a small smile, glancing at lexie.

(Lexie still here?)

(I'm not sure. her internets been spazzing a lot, so..)

Timeshift follows lexie, who just started leading. They were passing the apple acres, heading towards town.

Grace looks back at Timeshift. She cant help but stare. She shifts her shoulders, suddenly very self concious about what she is hiding beneath her hoodie. She knows that Timeshift is aware, or at least has a clue, but she cant bring herself to talk about it. How sure was she that she could trust this stallion with her secret? She wasnt going to have a repeat of what happened in the last town. She wish she could just be accepted among the towns folk, and not be treated like some royalty. But that wouldnt happen if everypony knew. It was best to hide it. Grace kept her head down

(sorry for the super long comment :P wanted to explain a few things about Grace)

Timeshifts wings twitch, and he glances at her. Ponyville is in sight, and ponies stroll about with smiles on their faces. Suddenly timeshift feels nervous, unsure of how they would react to him. (No problem! Long comments are good. x) )

Grace begs her wings to be still as they walk into town. Though most ponies dont notice, and others would dismiss the movement for a breeze, Grace still gets nervous. She doesnt stand out much among the candy colored townsfolk, aside from being just slightly taller than the average mare. Grace holds her breath. A new town, a new opprotunity to mess things up.

(My ds is on red. And i cant reach the charger on my bunk bed- so i'll have to go soon!)

Timeshift stays close to the others, looking around. Lexie talks about the different places and such. Some ponies look at timeshift for a second, but none say anything.

(When we have to stop I'll probably need to go instantly. So, if we were to get on tomorrow, around when do you normally get on? Cause then we can continue.)

Grace watches the ponies around her, noticing the glances at Timeshift. She prepares herself for a getaway in case things get messy like last time, but she finally releases the breath shes been holding in. Nopony stops them, nopony says anything to them. Grace almost laughs! Maybe things in Ponyville are different..

(I'll be on around 9:30 or 1O:OO AM Standard mountain time. I can RP for an hour or two in the morning.)

Midnight Flare walked down the main road of Ponyville, her nose in a book that she held with her gold-colored magic. A light breeze wafted by her, ruffling her feathers and hair.

Looking up from her book, she saw a rather unusual trio of ponies, one an Alicorn like herself, another in a grey hoodie, and the third mostly hidden by the other two. Interested, she called out to them, and trotted toward them. "Good day to you! I hope you have an enjoyable morning."

(Hey! I'm here if someone comes. ^-^)

Grace looks up when she hears the call. Her eyes get wide at the sight of /another/ alicorn. She brings her head up slightly, purple eyes shining. Ponyville is different.

(Lets say timeshift has the necklace on)

Timeshift looks over, surprised at the greeting.
(I'm not sure if she's here, so i didnt want my reply to be too long.)

Timeshift looks deep in thought. He couldn't really believe alicorns could live peacefully here. It was really...odd. He was the only alicorn where he grew up, and sometimes it was difficult. Perhaps he should've lived here.

"L-Lexie, how many Alicorns live around here?"

Timeshift looks at lexie, her name sounding familiar...He wasnt sure where he'd heard it, though. "Ponies here don't seem to mind." He says quietly, mostly to himself.

Timeshift watches the ponies walk by. Just going about their normal lives.

Twilight Sparkle? Thats a name Grace knows well. Celestia used to talk about her all the time. Her star pupil. "When did she become an Alicorn?"

Timeshift looks at them again. "I've heard her name before. I'm not sure when, though.."

Timeshift looks around. "My mother worked in manehatten, making watches and clocks. But she always wanted to work in canterlot." He says, glancing at her with a small smile.

"Oh. Well- I'm glad that worked out." He says, sounding sympathetic. "My parents encouraged me to explore equestria..So I did."

Timeshift thinks, looking around. "who lives on sweet apple acres?" He asks, peering out the windows to see the orchard.

Timeshift nods, smiling. "Thats cool! I'm related to...Well, Unicorn scholars, and pegasi who help with the weather." He says. "Can we see the orchard? With permission, of course."

Timeshift follows her, excited to see the orchard.

(I love apples too! I just can't eat them whole. it hurts my teeth. x) I need to slice them instead.)

Timeshift smiles. "Its really nice here." He says, looking at all the trees, spaced evenly.

Timeshift looks to her."Well, I don't know what else there is to see." He thinks. "Isnt there a cloud city nearby, too? Cloudsdale?"

Timeshift thinks, watching the clouds. "Want to come with me? I'm pretty sure I remember a spell for unicorns and earth ponies to walk on clouds. But- You dont have to." He adds quickly, unsure.

Timeshift closes his eyes, his horn glowing. It flashes brightly, and the spell goes into effect. Timeshift looks at her."Ready?"

Timeshift uses his magic to teleport them up. They appear iin cloudsdale, a bit away from any edge.

Timeshift smiles at her. "Its a bit hard to balance, but.." A pegasus lands infront of them. "Hey there newcomers!" She grinned. (Not rainbowdash, just a random pegasus)

The mare smiles. she has a gray coat with lighter gray appaloosa markings. She has a short white mane, and a very long white tail. her eyes are blue."I'm AzureCloud, or just azure. I rarely see the earth up here! It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Sure thing!" She says, hovering upside down while she looks to timeshift. "And an alicorn! whats your name?" She asks. Timeshift blinks. "Oh um- I'm Timeshift." He says, glancing at lexie, then using his magic to help her up.

"No problem." Timeshift smiled.
"You two want a tour?" Azure asks, flipping upright and landing.

"Thank you, but I think were alright." Timeshift says as politely as possible. "M'kay!" She says, zooming off.

Timeshift walks slowly, glancing back often to make sure she was okay.

Timeshift looks around. On a seperate cloud was a building, with rainbows coming from it. "wow." He says.

Timeshift thinks. "An hour or so. why?" he asks, looking concerned.

He doesnt look convinced."you sure?..."

Timeshift looks at the clouds they were standing on, ears twitching. He still wasnt convinced, but he started walking slowly.

Timeshift slows so he can walk beside her. "Mabye we should go down?" He suggests.

Timeshift nods. "Woah- you are. Yeah lets go, then." He says, his magic enveloping them so he could teleport them back.

They appear on the ground again, just outside of ponyville.

Timeshift flinches. "Sorry. I should've warned you."

"Just sit still for a minute." He says.

Timeshift looks concerned, but he doesnt press the matter further.

"You got hurt, didnt you." He says, laying infront of her with his hooves tucked neatly under him.

" Are you hurt or are you not?" He asks seriously with a worried expression.

Timeshift nods. "I dont know any healing spells, so...We should go to a clinic." He stands and moves beside her. "Just stay still." He teleports them to the clinics waiting room.

A tall stallion crashed into Midnight shortly before she caught up to the other Alicorn, and by the time the stallion had helped her up the other three had disappeared. "I'm terribly sorry Miss Flare!"

She follows. "What's your name?" She asks.

Shadow looks at the colt who tripped him. "Well I certainly would never hang out with colts like you! Why don't you leave." She says seriously, her orangey pink eyes narrow and stern. She helps ps.

She stares after the bully, glaring. She hoped he could feel her anger from where he was. She then looks at ps. " No- don't leave." She says with a smile." I'd still like to run with you."

"Well why not?" She asks, her tail swishing.

Shadow follows."Cool..I was born nearby. So naturally I live here." She smiles.

Shadow catches up. "So what's your name? never caught it."

"I'm ShadowDancer, after my father Sundancer." (I gtg. I'll bbl at the new rp painting!)
