This occured when I was really little and played Animal Crossing: Wild World.
I was out really late at night. I had my net out, and I saw a spider in the grass. I swung my net at it perfectly, but it wasn't caught. The spider came right at me, and my character was automatically knocked out.
I had provoked the infamous Tarantula.
Two of the three harmful insects [Scorpions, Tarantulas, and Bees] are easily provoked, especially when you hold a net.

It wasn't a spider, it was a Tarantula.
Look it up on the Animal Crossing Wiki...
There's a difference :T
And don't tell meh to check out your gallery...
It makes me feel like you don't care about the flippy-note, and you just want attention :<

Spiders are harmless and easy to catch. I wish everything in AC was like that.

If I could go within the realms of a video game...
I would probably eat the bees, dissect the scorpions, and become allies with all other things...
Bees are tasty, and I freaking hate scorpions...
