Trying something new by Danbo4-0
I felt kinda uncomfortable drawing this, but its high-time i started drawing females right? right....? idk i just want to expand my skills/ Im actually pretty proud of this, but i lack creativity with clothing and hair design, i also think i made made the head a tad small, plus my proportion skills arent well tuned but this makes great practice, especially since this is my first female human drawing, whatever, im just happy with it >w< I think i shall name her...Noel/ this is just a first pass

It is really good, considering. I remember when I first started drawing dudes... xDDDDD Why can't people draw the oposite se.x? Well, observe women carefully(Not real women.. thats creepy xDDDD), and then practice ewe Thats how I learned :D

I have issues drawing dudes, so I get where you're coming from. Pretty good for a first attempt, though. :)
I agree that the hips need to be a bit wider, not by much, just enough to be noticable. Just find a few h-t-d manga books and look at each of the anatomy sections. It helps more than you would think. Observing other artists helps too.
