Love it!!!! but yeah that part made me really sad and I still shed a tear on that part. Pikachu crying makes me want to hug him so next I would like to see what you can do for a happy drawing of Pikachu.

To answer your question, yes Ash died (or was turned to stone) in the first pokemon movie when he was blasted with mew and mewtwo's attacks. Pikachu and other pokemon's tears then brought him back to life.
