Dude, its a frekin' plage doctor, they stuff there beeks with lavender, oil, any thing with a strong incense, but the bird suit was soon proven wrong, because it was not air that sored the page it was germs, so, the main thing im trina sell here, is you guys dont read about history :/

Old-fashion Italian doctors mask, the end of the beak was filled with herbs n spyces to mask the stench of rotting flesh....

Its a plague doctor! I learned about this in AP World History. They would fill their masks with anything that smelled good, such as roses, and believed this would keep them safe from the Black Plague. They also sometimes wore frog necklaces as well. Even though none of this worked, it was pretty cool if you ask me!

Ies gens pensait que la maladie provenait des odeurs.alors ils utilisaiet des masques pour se proteger.En realite la maladie etait transmise par les rats provenants du mont blanc, ils sont passes par les egouts.a lepoque de la peste noire, les gens jetaient leurs ordures dans les rues, ce qui attira des colonies entieres de rats.On marquait d'une croix les maisons infectees.
