I dug straight dow and found one, then my friend wanted to play, continued digging down and fell in LAVA!!! T^T

I found my first three next to a lava pool, I made them into a pickaxe then I fell in the lava and lost it all.

hmm 1st time i found diamonds. Went down a mineshaft, began digging through a random wall, found three diamonds. Got two third fell in lava =( made a diamond sword, killed a s.hit load of mobs, went home yay!! what about you?

Hhm, believe it or not, I can't remember the FIRST time! :O But I know I've learned the hard way to be careful near lava and NEVER dig straight below you XD but recently I've been playin' around with mods. Mods make minecraft SO much more fun :3
