At the age of seven I started making and using wooden blades. I used to spar and role-play(context clues indate that these are two different things!) with my friends all the time back where I used to live. My favorites to use were katana, gladius and the oh-so simple staff. Broadswords and claymores were strictly for RPs but we had those too. All wooden. We were all self proclamed swordsman... we actually trained when we weren't goofing off XD
