I agree, not that this isn't a cool sketch, but 16 minutes of effort, and that beats out some very well executed drawings that the artists actually put a lot of thought and time into? Not trying to be negative, just not sure what makes this one the winner.

I really dont get why this won. Im not trying to be mean, but its scratchy and blah. There where others way better. Hell, mine was even better then this and mine sucked. Who judges these things.

Nobody has any right to say whats better and what's worse. The colors!gallery team and the latest winner judge them. This won, get over it.

So much unpleasantness going on! Look people, whoever chose my painting as the winner did it out of their own free will and their own judgement, so that's that.
Why does it look like Gray Fox? Because it was going to be Gray Fox. It wasn't even going to be part of the contest, hell, it was made about a day or two prior.
Time does not equal quality, I thought this was pretty obvious.
I hope that covers everything?

Wow guys. Way to be incredibly rude. The artist followed the theme perfectly and made a good drawing in under 20 minutes! Personally I'd judge pictures on more than just "is it pretty and take 10hrs to draw". Plus if the WC is a way for artists to gain some exposure. If the 'popular' artists always win, it's not fair to everyone else. Anhway, my apologies for the rant. Congrats on winning, I think you deserve it. :)

Besides, as Private Caboose pointed out, the winner isn't chosen by the previous winner, he just merely suggests an entry to the staff.

actually yes it is the peoples opinion . this painting does show talent but not enough to deserve the win . that is why the colors 3d staff have decided to name a new winner in the next challenge after the spy challenge. and yes the staff has the right to rename a winner . and to the creator , this is a nice painting but it does NOT deserve to win . however u could easily fix this up to win

It's quite alright, Private Caboose, it is pointless to argue with buttmad children. Besides, they'll forget about it as soon as the next victim gets chosen as the winner and they go pester them instead.

So what, it only took 16 minutes, IT LOOKS AWESOME! Just because your jelly of this peep DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN BE A JERK ABOUT IT. Paintings are about how they look, not how much time is spent on them. You only think yours deserved to win because you wanted to win. Everyone has their own opinion, but it's kinda jerky to say mean stuff.

Eh, it's ok. I feel like this could be really awesome with a bit more detail to express the mood and feeling going into it. Because right now, I don't feel anything.
And for those saying that I should be positive & supportive.

I can agree with supportive, but sometimes supportive isn't positive.
If I posted a piece of art I wouldn't want a bunch of uncaring compliments, I'd want honest opinions. Be them negative or not.

sorry for previous comments. my freind borrowed my 3ds for the week. of all the painting in the contest this one won only because its not a rip off . its original. as a master painter and former robotic engineer this painting resembles the handiwork of a kindergardner. the background is sad just two blocks with red ...balls? this probally was meant for a sketch anyways . the lines are not condensed and you can see where he redid them. the middle red thing is not proportional to the robot . and the coloring of this painting is sad and boring. it may be original but this time the judge made the wrong call . perhaps you only won because the judge [ the previous winner ] let you win. everyone dies but me , kaleb
