I really need to work on the shadow and highlights and I think this might look presentable.

The barebone and sketch were done in my sketchbook, then I took a picture of it with the 3DS and set it as an overlay to trace and clean as seen in the first stages. Its just so much easier for me to sketch on paper than 3DS. I'm certainly not ready for freehand yet, but I'll take this as a sign of improvement.
