Just throwing this out there, but the original green lantern is a black person Then they made that movie where hes a white guy. I say he looked better as a black guy. Nice painting though.

Jon Stuart was black. Hal Jordan was the original Human GL. He's never been any other race.

Not bad at all. Nice stark, black shadows. I recommend roughing out the general shapes of the body before yoy properly get to work; speeds things up a bit and helps reduce the amount of tedious redrawing to get things looking right.
