MISSINGNO. IS A BIRD?!?! by Pixelated Eevee
Yep! Bird-Type
During the making of the first Pokemon games Red and Green (Blue) they were originally going to call the Flying-Type the Bird-Type. For some reason the Bird-Type name still remains in the code of the first and second gen games.
When you catch MissingNo. in Red or Blue, both of it's types are Normal-Type and the unused Bird-Type! Just some intresting facts! Please add likes to this. I spent a load of time on this!

I'm Not lieing to you! Look it up (Bulbapedia) Also I actually have Pokémon Red and Blue (Not Yellow D:) and did the MissingNo. glitch on Red version only. (I will never play Blue!)

Actually guys Missingno means missing numbers, there were going to be more pkm in R/B/Y but they were cut. All of the missing pkm were in gen 2
