Well I'm a very, very, VERY newbie artist, but I find it to be very fun, so I'm working on getting better! :] I tried for a Chibi-ish look and the Animal Crossing leaf was sort of a random thing I wanted to do xD. And YES, it's supposed to be a sort-of self portrait. ^^
