Yes, yes this is true... Has been for a while. Nobody appreciates art that took time and effort, only dancing pigs that took little to no time at all.

It seems that the most stared art is not based on quality, but on what is seen as marketable or popular. It's actually pretty sad when you think about it....

nicely done i have yet to get more than fifty likes but it keeps me going ponys and anime type cat people have taken over i can live with that i just have to do one or the other then maybe people will like me wimper

This happened to me sooo much in my art class! We had a weekly drawing where there would be a top three, and a winner. And I NEVER got picked, and I spent at least 2 hours on each pic. But them when I made something that took me 17 mins, I got first place... T_T
So, yeah, some things are just unfair in the world... QnQ

Yep people should listen to you, my art gets one-five stars (the original ones) and the traced gets twenty five-seventy five stars :/
