This is just a little parody aimed at no one in particular. I've found that a lot of people like to use a lot of "Gloss" and scratch patterns in their drawings that really distract from the character. It's almost as if people are... unconfident... In the quality of their art.

I'll admit that I do use too much gloss or shinyness in my drawings. I don't know why but, it looks cool to me.

Any effect used in the right contexts can be cool and enhance the painting, rather than hide it. But there are those people. XP
