"Soon enough, I'd set up a small laboratory in a cabin near the woods. I'd brought the necessary books: 'Edible & Medicinal Plants of Western Equestria', 'Super Natural', 'Basic Spell-Casting', and a novel 'Blue Moon: a Mystery' to pass the time.
Everyday I'd go out to collect samples, and as it got darker, I went back to my cabin to study them. It was on the third night that I began hearing sounds outside my window. And every morning, I would find hoofsteps in the dirt. This carried on for about a week.
One day, when I was out collecting, I heard groaning. Close by, there was an Earth Pony lying on the ground. 'Umm. Excuse me? Are you okay?' I approached the pony, 'Do you need hel-AAAH!' The pony turned, it had no jaw and its eyes were blank, literally, they had only the smallest pupil, staring at me. The thing lurched at me, and I galloped as fast as I could. Soon enough, there were more. I went into my cabin and locked everything. More and more started swarming around the cabin. I gathered my books, some food, and a few packets of essential herbs I'd made. I headed to a window to make my escape. But dozens of these-these-these zombies were surrounding the cabin. Striking doors and windows."

"I heard wood break. They were pouring in from a single broken door. All their beady eyes were set on me. They got closer and closer, cornering me. The stench of rot filled the cabin. 'This is it,' I thought with tears running down my face, 'I'm going to die!'.
Then, just as a grey, mangled pony, with half her flank gone, was about to bite me, there was a flash of light and the forest breeze was gently caressing me. I was outside. The ground beneath me had a burnt mark on it. 'I-I teleported...' But the awe was soon replaced by dread when I remember the terror behind me. I galloped away from the town, away from the stench of decay, and away from THEM.
I had to get home. I had to make sure my parents and brothers were safe. So I kept galloping, I needed to get home. And with only a few books and herbs with me, I knew I had to survive."

The Trotting dead is a comic type series that is kinda like the Walking Dead TV series. it is made by @/DeadHeart/DH/ and it's pretty sweet.

Also daaaaang. You could make one heck of a writer! Dang. I have always (And by always I mean ever since I joined this amazing fandom) wanted to be a writer but I am just horrible at it. xD

You know what guys? I'm gonna make my own 'Trotting Dead'. I've been bubbling with ideas. I'll call it, "The Trotting Dead: Where the Sun Sets". It'll take place in western Equestria, I'll see if DH will let me make it parallel to the original.

Tell ya what, I'll let you help me come up with ideas for my The Trotting Dead season 1 & be like a writter (If you want) and you can start your TTD:WTSS as a seperate series, same apocalypse, same world, different location, different survivors. Deal? :3
