(Okay. Here we go!! Sorry to keep you all waiting... ; P)
Intro: From his room, the day was just as normal for Scortch as it has always been—long and hot—thanks to summer. He didn’t mind it at all. He was a fire-type after all and the humidity felt good on his skin. Scortch’s room was the only one in his trainer’s house that didn’t supply consistent air conditioning. He didn’t care though and it was the right environment for him: red carpet with crimson sheets on his red bed. His walls were a light red and his windows had mahogany frames—showing the outside world with trainers battling and going on walks. At this point, Scortch was on his bed resting. He had an epic battle with Terrance who wanted to test out his frigid powers on him. He barely fainted from the experience, showing that his Wartortle friend had given him the cold shoulder. The Charmander rolled on his side, trying to get comfortable. His tail was burning greatly—as it always has been. His jacket was on the hanger near a corner of his room; he took it off before battling Terrance. He didn’t want to let his jacket become frozen, though he didn’t mind his teal bandana receiving that fate…

(I'm thinking of organizing the parts into chapters, guys. ; ) )
Chapter One: The Feeling
It seemed that Scortch just couldn’t get comfortable. Was it the bed sheets? The bandana? The room itself? He didn’t know. He groaned and stood up. The Charmander didn’t feel any pain, but he felt something that seemed to be squeezing him somewhat. However, there was nothing strangling him—Bowvy, his Ivysaur friend, wouldn’t be compressing his body in his mind would he? He didn’t have vines around him. Scortch went to the bathroom, nearby the doorway to his room when a voice stopped him. “So you’re ready for round two?” it said. Scortch turned a bit to see Terrance standing with his arms crossed. “No,” Scortch replied, “I need to go to the bathroom.” Terrance nodded as Scortch entered the restroom. He didn’t have to go, but something was hurting him. Scortch closed the door and looked in the mirror. He only saw himself. His orange skin, sea green eyes, tan chest. He looked at his feet. His toe nails were white, like they should be. His teeth were at perfect a quantity: two canines on top and two on the bottom. His mouth and body seemed fine, as his tail, burning gently still. Was someone calling him? He hasn’t been in dark personality in a long time, but he wasn’t sure if that was the case. He touched his chest, right where he felt uncomfortable and the feeling seemed to have gotten worse. Scortch groaned a bit and he took his hand off of his chest. “What the heck?” he wondered. The feeling started to weaken seconds after he took his hand off his chest. He mistakenly touched it again and this time, the feeling got even worse than before and he started to cough. At first, there was nothing, but after a few coughs, black energy started to flow from his mouth. Scortch gasped and backed away. He fell backwards, landed on his back and his strength started to disappear. In seconds, the Charmander couldn’t even stand up. His eyes turned completely black as he screamed, “WHO ARE YOU!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME!?” An evil laugh was then heard and his vision started to become blurry. Scortch then couldn’t see anymore and the roared in pain as darkness started to consume him. “BOWVY! TERRANCE! HELP ME!!” Then, the pain stopped and there was blackness all around him…

Chapter Two: “I’m You”
While Scortch was lying on the floor unconscious, a big amount of dark energy escaped from his mouth at once and swirled around. After a few seconds, the energy formed a black Charmander with glowing purple eyes—Scortch’s dark personality in its own separate form. The Charmander looked at its hands, pleased with the occurrence. “Yes,” he said, “I’m finally out!” He looked at the rest of his body and got even more pleased. He chuckled a bit and noticed his normal form on the ground, still out of commission. “The escape definitely took a toll on him,” Dark Scortch exclaimed, “I’ll wait for my normal self to snap to reality…”
After a few minutes, Scortch became conscious and stood up, sluggishly. “Where am I?” he groaned. “You’re right here,” a voice chuckled. “Huh?” Scortch asked. He slowly adjusted his vision back to normal and saw another Charmander in front of him with glowing purple eyes and a black and purplish flame on its tail. Scortch slowly stood up, fully awake. “Who…are you?” he asked the Charmander slowly. The black Charmander laughed. “You don’t recognize who I am?” it countered with black energy emanating from its mouth. Scortch looked confused. “Uh…yeah,” he replied. “I have close to the same voice as you!” the Charmander declared, “Have you ever looked at yourself in a mirror with your dark form?” Scortch was still confused. “What do you even mean?” he questioned. The black Charmander laughed again. “Are you serious!?” it asked, “You can’t even recognize your own face in front you!? Oh wow, man! You are so naïve!” The Charmander poked him. “I’m you!” it finally said. Scortch was still stuck in his confused emotion. “Huh? What? You don’t look like me. Why are you saying that you’re me?” The dark Charmander grabbed Scortch shoulders. “Why the h*ll do you keep asking these questions if I have already told you the truth!?” Dark electricity flowed from the dark Charmander’s hands and went through Scortch’s body. Scortch roared in pain as the energy went through him.
As this was happening, his eyes zoinked out, and flashbacks started to appear in front of him, from attacking his acquaintances, to betraying his friends, to even future predictions of conquering the world. They all gave him a sense of déjà vu—he was looking his dark form! Realizing it, Scortch screamed in pain to stop it from hurting him. “GAH!! STOP!! PLEASE STOP!! PLEEEASE!!!” His dark form heard this and stopped his fury. Scortch got down on his knees and held his chest in pain. “So,” Dark Scortch asked, “Do you know who I am now?” Scortch looked up in agony and anger. “Yes,” he growled, “You’re the one that made me turn my back against the ones I trust and support! You’re the one who used me to try TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!” The dark Charmander laughed maniacally. “You are right!” he agreed, “I knew that you remembered me!” A whitish energy started to emanate from Scortch’s body. “Get me out of here,” he growled, “NOW!” “Already?” Dark Scortch countered, “But I just met you. Why not talk some more?” Scortch growled again—there was no doubt that he was angry. The energy that was emanating him grew more intense, making his eyes zoinked out. Dark Scortch started to back up. “Well,” he replied, “if that’s what you want…” He swiped his hand at Scortch and the orange Charmander rose off the ground, growled and became unconscious again. “We’ll meet again…” Dark Scortch bellowed, and he sent his normal form back to his trainer’s house, while producing an evil laugh…

Chapter Three: Back Home
Scortch had regained consciousness after a while and was lying down on his bed. “He’s waking up,” Terrance declared. “Uuuggghh,” Scortch moaned, “Where am I?” “You’re in your room man,” Bowvy replied, “We saw you passed out on the floor in the bathroom. It’s great that you’re alive.” Scortch grabbed his tail—showing that he was still alive. “The flame was quite weak actually when you were passed out,” Terrance added, “and it looks like it’s burning strong again.” Scortch groaned, rolling on his side. “I wanna’ rest right now if that’s okay?” “Sure man,” Bowvy replied, “Rest all you want. You seem lethargic anyway…” Terrance patted Scortch carefully. “We’ll be in our rooms and we’ll occasionally check on you.” Bowvy and Terrance left the room and closed the door. “I wonder why he passed out,” Bowvy asked Terrance. Terrance shrugged. “I’m not sure,” he replied, “There was some dark energy emanating from his body though.” “Could he have gone evil again, but stopped it at the last minute?” “Could be,” Terrance agreed, “Of course when there’s dark energy, there’s evil.” Bowvy and Terrance nodded at each other and went into their rooms.
While Scortch was resting, a voice appeared in his head. “You have great friends,” it said, “It would be a shame if something bad had happened to them…” Scortch closed his eyes tightly; the voice was from his dark form. “Get out of my mind,” Scortch demanded. “Not until I tell you this,” Dark Scortch stammered, “I want to thank you for setting me free and, at some points, I want to test out your power—one on one—against me.” “Now is not a good time,” Scortch countered. “Of course,” Dark Scortch agreed, “You are still recovering. When you have completely healed, then I’ll let you fight me. Why hurt you when you are weak?” Scortch growled. “Just because I’m in bad shape now, does NOT mean I’m weak, you idiot!” “Maybe not,” Dark Scortch replied, “But I’m getting stronger by the second. I could be more powerful than you and keep taking you down! Do you want that?” “Okay I’m done talking,” Scortch suddenly said, “Now let me rest, okay?” Dark Scortch chuckled. “Why of course! You may need it when your testing comes…” The voice laughed maniacally and disappeared. Scortch sighed. “I’ve gotta’ tell Bowvy and Terrance on what happened to me,” he thought.
