You're lucky you got the oppurtunity, I had to grow up with the vhs. Finally saw it in theaters when it was re released, wasn't as good as the original.

The original E.T. (puppet) WAS creepy! I mean before they made him all CG and "cute". I still don't get why they did the whole thing with the wakie talkies instead of shotguns scene. :p Anyway, this is awesome. Keep it up. :]
