^ I know right! I mean we're all artists, and we all just want to share our art. She likes drawing Ruby and Shadow together, so stop b****ing.

Fan characters just shouldn't interact with canon characters in the first place. It leads to all this, "hes mine, no mine" bu.llsh!t that no one really has time for.

If your OC needs a bf/gf, I suggest either mutually (which means both of the creators agree with/support the couple) pair your OC with another creators, or just make up one.

FC/Canon Characters (cc) just shouldn't date, it leads to the characters emotions and personality being bent so much that it just doesn't even seem like the character anymore. Take Shadow for instance, over the years so many fangirls have paired their FCs w/ Shadow and made him out to be this kind attention-bearing loverboy, when in reality he's a rogue, he keeps to himself and he's essentially emotionless, he only cares about finding his origins and defending whats neccesary to benefit himself.
There are many different examples but I feel like Shadow has been a fairly beaten character in this sense.

This is my opinion, being a die-hard fan of the Sonic franchise.
