Sleepy Frost "Pencil" Sketch by Frost the Fox

I haven't felt too good about drawing on my 3DS lately. It kinda hurts, to be honest. I have been able to produce a couple sketches on paper, though. Although this isn't one of them, I thought I'd show just about how I draw with pencil and paper. What do you think?
The only thing I can't demonstrate is my shading- I use my finger to smudge some lines, and repeat a couple times in increasingly smaller areas to create gradience.

@Ziken Awww, that stinks. My dogs never bites anyone. He's also a chihuahua, so he couldn't hurt anyone even if he wanted to.

you are awesome at drawing in pencil. have you ever thought of being an artist as being your furture job? perhaps maybe you can give me a few pointers on shading.

This looks really good :D! I think the shading is also good too n_n.
If it's painful for you to draw right now, don't push yourself too hard :(.

Re: Don't be that hard on yourself. Sometimes my pictures look terrible in comparison to what I had in my head... but by drawing, no matter the mistakes, you can improve! See what you did wrong and think, "Next picture won't have this mistake." Also, look as much paintings you can to get ideas of the poses! Since you draw furries, you could also look at yourself in a mirror and try to get your pose to later use that pose in your pictures. Hope I helped :D. Don't give up, Frost!
