I have a HUGE fear of telephones - even the sound of one ringing triggers the 'fight or flight' response in my head. I can only talk to people on the phone if it is someone I can trust (only my closest friends) and if they call me first. I know it sounds ridiculous but I can trace my phobia back to when I recieved a phone call the day my dad died so...yeah. I'm terrified and still in my room from the thought of dialing the boss for a job I might get in the near future...
